I'm 32 and have finally had all of my teeth removed.... fun fact, not a drug addict. I never had a cavity until after I had a baby. After my 2nd baby, my teeth were not worth saving and causing me so much pain. I'm 8 weeks post operation and I'm so happy and pain free, after 6-7 years

Both of those illnesses caused me intense vomiting, every. single. day. It doesn't matter how much, how little, or what I ate, I threw it up. I was hospitalized for severe dehydration several times, so dehydrated in fact, I couldn't even pee in a cup at 9 months pregnant... couldn't keep down water some days. My teeth suffered the most, my hair was falling out, I developed postpartum blood pressure issues, and was so weak I couldn't walk or hold my baby sometimes. My husband is a dental assistant, I'm positive I took great care of my teeth and was watched closely by his dentist. When fixing the affected teeth (and my jaw, it had to be completely rebuilt) was going to cost me more than just having them pulled and my jaw rebuilt, I put my vanity aside to make the best decision for my family, not only myself. I'm not willing to put $65k into fixing my teeth when $15k will solve the problem forever. You should hold off on insinuating that I made reckless food choices until you've asked or at least done some research.

I had a brain aneurysm and it damaged the nerves to my teeth and I kept a toothache all the time, try living with all your teeth hurting at one time, sometimes they would hurt for a few minutes and sometimes they would hurt all day, the only way to stop it was to pull all my teeth, I finally couldn't take the pain anymore so I have dentures now, just learning to speak without covering my mouth.
Why point out the very small possibility of why she could have dentures. I'd say probably half of denture wearers are either people with conditions that cause their teeth to become bad or those that just ate sugar and didn't take care of their teeth. Then you have others who have had actual accidents but couldn't afford the dental implants needed to fix their issue. Like if you fall down stairs for instance and smack your teeth on a step and can't afford 15k for implants in the places they got destroyed at, a denture is your option or a partial. I think people forget just how expensive a implant is let alone a full upper starting around 25k which is labeled as cosmetic so insurance doesn't cover it. Also, most dental insurance have super high deductibles. Mines 2k before my insurance pays anything. 90% of people who can't afford implants don't just have 2k laying around. Just food for thought. But pointing out drug use when she's beautiful is disgusting imo

But honestly I should've had them removed at 25 or younger. I've never done a hard drug in my life. Stop that stereotype.

People are judgemental jerks! I am 55, have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, land had gastric bypass almost 20 years ago. This combo caused me to lose my nearly perfect teeth (1 filling until age 45.). I have spent years having people either give me weird los or straight out acuse me if meth use. I've never touched anything stronger than cannabis. If you want to know, just ask. I enjoy educating people about my diseases and showing that although I may be disabled, I'm still capable of a heck of a lot! My bone structure won't allow for implant posts, so I have dentures. After 7 years of issues, I finally got mine last week and am learning to smile again. I had no idea that I'd stopped smiling. If you made it this far, know that you are not alone in this world. You don't know what someone else is going thru.
My mother lost all of her teeth because when I was born in the 70s they did not give vitamin supplements like calcium so my twin and I stole the calcium from her body. So she lost all of her teeth. Don't assume people are on drugs because they've lost their teeth there are many many reasons you can lose your teeth. One of them being genetics. You can go to the dentist religiously for every 6 months and still have tooth loss. Any good honest dentist will tell you that.
This woman has never done drugs.. she had a very very bad dentist at a very young age and got screwed over by an adult who should’ve been looking after her. I don’t remember her name but try to find her and watch her tell her story instead of assuming the worst.
I have dentures and I had all my teeth, but then after pregnancy they started breaking one by one and it was so painful!!! I actually wish I would have got a partial for the bottom because my bone loss because it's changed the structure of the bottom of my face and I can't chew anything without having to glue them in the course having the proper dentist and the proper fitting ones probably would be a different experience
I'm 36, don't drink and never done drugs. I lost my teeth 3yrs ago. Just got full dentures. Mine was caused by the fact I have to take liquid morphine and 70 tablets a day for health conditions to be managed as well as they can be. They just don't tell you the damage these meds do.
I had mine taken out a week ago and I am 46. Not a drug user or drinker, just not blessed with the best of genetics when it came to my teeth. I still only have the temps for now and they are SO hard to get used to. I can't really eat with them just yet, still healing. And man, I have never wanted pizza more in my life than I do right now. lol

i have bad genetic. my parents lost all of their teeth when i was so young. but my dad is healthy. it is just we have bad teeth. my dad is living well and super active in his 70 tho he didnt have any tooth since ages ago. my mom and I always have weak blood presure and just feeling weak in general we dont get checked up for lupus or diabates but my doctor always tell me that we have low red blood cells. I dont take any drugs but I change my diet and exercise. yeah we just have bad genetic.

My grandmother lost all her teeth in her 20s due to her diabetes (she was born in the 20s, so I guess this would have been in the 40s).
