100 years ago, the Kaimiloa, a cutting-edge yacht owned by the Kellum family, embarked on an extraordinary journey through the south Pacific.
This remarkable yacht was impressive in size, equipped with state of the art wireless communications systems and a science lab, just to name a few mind blowing unheard of amenities for 1924.
Historian and author Cesar Becerra talks about the Kaimiloa in his new book which is based on the epic tale of far away travels to remote islands on a quest for adventure and discovery.
