- Aborted - "Cadaverous Banquet", taken from "Retrogore" album.
So, as some of you guys noticed, lately I've been listening suspiciously quite a lot to Aborted songs. My Spotify told me that "Cadaverous Banquet" was the song that I been listening to the most frequently this year.
Well, now you know why.
Originally I've recorded 5 Aborted cover songs earlier this year, but I didn't make all of them public yet since they were meant to be for the audition. But as far as we all are aware of the situation with Covid and postponed/cancelled tours everything has to wait and no one knows how long it will take to get back on the track.
Nevertheless I decided to post the remaining 3 videos, 2 next songs to come in upcoming 2 weeks till the end of the year.
I also want to make clear, that those videos are strictly audition "raw" one take one camera absolutely no post production/editing/whatsoever clips - it is what you get from the start to the very end, as I would play them live.
Also another challenging thing is that originally this song is played on a 6 string tuned to drop A tuning, and I am playing here on a 7 string tuned to standard E + 7th string to A, which makes like literally all the solos and 1/4 of the riffs to play completely different :D
Of course everything here is learnt by ear and/or from the videos of the guys playing the song (this one actually had a play through video, but the other two didn't).
Gear used here is pretty much everything as always - Ibanez RGD7UCS, Rivera Knucklehead 2 +Mesa Boogie Cab, TS, Puff Custom guitar effects, Craft Ears Monitors, Fat Cables

serwus, z tym to akurat sielanka bo jest playthrough jak chłopaki grają więc łatwo było rozkminić. Gorzej było z pozostałymi :)
A samo zagranie? Wtedy miałem taką formę, że to co jest na tym filmie to jest drugi tejk zagrany cięgiem od A do Z
Pierdolnął alpagę, i poszło. Szkoda, że nie za Odrę, czy Ocean Atlantycki i może kurwa dalej. Co za zmarnowane talenty!😏

no właśnie ciekawa sprawa, bo oni ten numer grają w drop A na 6kach a ja zrobiłem na 7ce w Standard E plus 7ma A, więc wszystkie solówki i ćwierć riffów do góry nogami xD
Hey, you should definitely make more videos. I honestly believe that your skills weren't represented well with Decapitated.
thanks mate, means a lot. Altho skills are not the most important thing in music. I had my job done in Decap as it was and it was what it was :)
