The Sound of White Noise is still one of my favorite metal albums of the 90's despite "true Anthrax fans" giving me shit for decades. I also thought The Unspoken King was a great Cryptopsy album. Come at me, nerds! After listening to the whole thing, this ranks up there with other 2024 greats like Weston Super Maim's See You Tomorrow Baby and Avralize's Freaks... but my taste ranges over much of the metal spectrum and Cat 7 is nothing like those other two I mentioned.
The GREAT John Bush accompanied by one trillion guitar notes from Phil and Mike and a growling bass and drum due of Jack and Jason. Supergroup? HELL YES. Just inject this into my veins please.
Not sure if had to pay for the shipping... I would like to have a big CD collection but I have to buy them in Amazon because in Costa Rica metal music shops sells more clothing than albums.... I have to wait severals weeks, pay a significant amount for the shipping and worst thing is that on many ocassions jewel case is broken
After the Storm is one of sickest instrumentals EVER! Exhausted is frickin awesome. All the tunes keep me amazed. I'm looking forward to seeing the band crush it live.
Ok... Now I have to clean out the wall of encephalic mass... My head just exploded! A metal master piece of work, man! Thank you so much! Cheers from Argentina!
Great job!We have in this album:a competent production, musicians well-gripped working together. The band rhythmically kitchen goes with perfectly where the vocal is sharply, bass line is present, guitar splendidly well played and drums showing a mastery advance technique.
Release date (7/26) is also my dad's birthday and John Bush was in my dad's favorite singers (mine too). Growing up he was my gateway into metal I cherish the memories of watching Anthrax's "Attack of the killer A's" on vhs with him. He was always on the hunt for Armored Saint discs. And the Music of Mass Destruction dvd was sick too. Thank you this is very special to me. Love you and Miss you Dad RIP.
I will say this about the group. It's definitely worthy of a Grammy Nomination for best Metal Performance. Really the heaviest shit to drop so far this year.
The 10th last song on this album is brutal attack of every instrument in the band nuclear heavy metal onslaught of like 8 minutes of heavy metal rock roll excessity for any diehard fan of this genre of awesomeness music 🎵🎶!
Quite surprised that alot of you never this project was underway and who was actually playing on the album and they're respective bands 🤔 Total class collaboration guys let's hope there's more and gigs 🤘
Man, there is a CRAP ton of metal history on this album, with this line up!! Initial thoughts on the project were definitely pumped up. I was never into Armored Saint, and the only John Bush I had been exposed to was on Sound of White Noise (which, as an Anthrax fan, was confusing in it's own right), so I continued to make the Anthrax "association" when checking the first couple tracks, and eventually the full album. What I keep/kept coming back to was Demmel and Bittner on a project together. Demmel hasn't done anything NOT worth listening to, since his days in Vio-lence. Bittner's had my undivided attention since first being exposed to him in Shadows Fall. Certainly enjoyed his work in Overkill these last few years as well, hated to see him go - one of the reasons I opted not to go see them live last month. I was also on the fence about the instrumental. Just didn't seem to fit the time, or the genre, and nowadays, Dream Theater seems like the only viable candidate to get away with it. It took a few listens, and kinda had to talk myself into it, but it's worthy metal of yesteryear, with a great cast, and I finally own a copy!🤘🤘
Muito bom, mas, parece que, quando entra o vocal,a voz fica muito alta em relação às guitarras.A banda é excelente.O álbum é ótimo. Só que tem de ouvir naqueles Aparelhos de som antigos, tipo Aiwa, com um tipo de equalizador que dá p abaixar a voz p escutar o instrumental.
@@stratupdude I was wondering about that, upon hearing the initial couple of songs that were released a couple of weeks ago. Do you think the albums has some of the same "loudness" issues that Metallica's Death Magnetic had, only perhaps not as severe? Im gonna get a proper listen to it on the headphones soon, but Im wondering if it will sound a tad too "compressed' like some other albums fall into.
John Bush - vocals
Phil Demmel - guitar
Mike Orlando - guitar
Jack Gibson - bass
Jason Bittner - drums

Yeah White Noise, Stomp442 and Volume 8 all were heavily in my rotation back in the day! Never got into non-Bush Anthrax despite trying many times.
WOW, Armored Saint, Machine Head, Anthrax, and Shadows Fall, Loving this 4 sure!!!! 😎🤘🤘
Gibson also holds down bass in Exodus!
Love John Bushs vocals \m/ also really Great Songs and Solos \m/
What a blast! This record kicks some major ass.
I didn't even knew this band existed, so this is a great surprise, phenomenal album!

I already pre-ordered the CD and here it is free? What a world we live in. Glad to support Metal Blade Records for over 40 years. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I dont mind to pay for a CD that is entirely on youtube
Every album is on youtube and up on streaming platforms. THE FUTURE IS NOW.
Its always good to have a physical copy, that way you have it and can listen to it whenever in case it stops being on streaming services.
@@TheFourthSeal Totally agree.

Had no idea this band existed, but you know that voice the moment you hear it.

Thank you so much for making my day better. The album absolutely kicks ass! Thanks guys!!!
Best album I've heard in years. That instrumental at the end is ridiculous
Well done guys
I will say this about the group. It's definitely worthy of a Grammy Nomination for best Metal Performance. Really the heaviest shit to drop so far this year.

Drummer is a beast!🤘🏼
The one and only Jason Bitner.. Drummer for Shadows Fall and Overkill..Just to name a couple bands he's in.
The guitar work on this is sick
This is brilliant 🤘🖤
Brilliant album. Everything Bush does is awesome. I can't wait to hear his Electric Spaghetti project.

This is excellent. I'll be buying this one very soon. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm picking this up tomorrow from my local record shop. I'm going old school on this one 🤘🤘🤘
UTM , thanks for keeping me on track with what's going on. Oh. I picked that one, never mind.
A new Super Group is born!! 🤘🤘
It sounds new but old and familiar.... Liking it. That logo looks like it is the 7th entry in some Japanese game series.
38:40 FUCKING JOHN BUSH!
One of the best singers ever in rock
@@HasselDaHoff25 definitely my favorite
It's really going to be hard to follow up this band
We'll see what happens.
A balanced mix of thrash and heavy metal, kinda like Metal Church. Killer album!
Drums are killing 🔊🤘🥁

The best new music out there. I like that comment because it's true.
Los ultimos temas tienen adn de violence ❤
What the ….Killer!
well. this is just utterly fan-fucking-tastic - should have went with category 8
Do I hear JOHN BUSH??
I must say I enjoy this better than Kerry album

This is badaass
For both Phil and Mike
Like something from the early 2000's hard rock/metal era.
😱😱😱😱😱😍😍😍😍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fuckin aye!!!! This is the real shit!!!!
It's good
Attention; ATTENTION; John Bush; that is all
Coming wit Exhorder.. headlining tho🤦🏻♂️
I really enjoyed this album music. However when Bush began to sing it for me didn't mesh with the music
It ok,I guess
Sounds is overload.. 😒 drums are not ok. Reminds me story with Adrenaline Mob, where is the same problem
Drums are fine. Just like Adrenaline Mob ( Mike Portnoy ).
@@MetalDad67 Too much compression
I think the vocals are too loud in the mix and the guitars sit too far back in it

Listening on a cell phone is definitely out of the question.
