    This is NOT a review!
    I always missed some raw and straight footage where I could hear the real thing from a musician’s point of view. That’s why I created this channel. I also want to have some fun doing this just because life is too short.
    Call this my guilty pleasure at the same time that I hope you can find some use for my content.
    Thanks for watching. Please like, comment, share and subscribe. I would love to see you again anytime soon!

    I have the 2555x as well. Saw a smoking deal on a 335 today and wondered how they’d mix. I have my answer and got to hear some tasty licks as well 👏. Thank you internet.

    Your playing reminds me a lot of my own. I'm betting we have almost the same influences.

      Thanks for watching! What are your influences? Fun Fact: I'm a lefty myself but I've been playing "right handed" for a while, just got used to it. I really hope you enjoy your new 335, they are a hell of a guitar. The JVM410 is also a beast of an amp, lucky you! More versatile than people think of. Anyway, welcome to the channel, there will be a lot more videos with some interesting gear coming up soon. Cheers!

      @@povguitarla Brother. Jimi. Stevie. Van Halen, Schenker, Deep Purple, Who, Tull, Berry, Cream, All the thrash/heavy metal you can think of. Talking Heads. Oingo Boingo. Frank Zappa. John Coltrane. Gipsy Kings. Di Meola. Camel. All the good punk bands. Johnny Cash. Tons. But all of it has taught me. That isn't counting vocal influences. :D Keep it coming dude!
      ps. I started when I was 6 and they tried starting me with a right handed guitar. I played it upside down till I got a proper left handed guitar when I was 12. lol

    Do you find it hard to balance the clean and dirty channels? Can it be used as a 2 channel head or is it better just for overdrive? Great content, just subscribed!

      Thanks for subscribing! I will upload some videos in a live setting and switching channels with the Jubilee as well soon. Clean channel has naturally more headroom than the lead channel so depending on your settings it can feel louder in a weird way. balancing the lead master and the input gain is how I get the channels to work together in a live environment. Cheers!

    which overdrive were you using to boost?

    • @povguitarla
      @povguitarla  Рік тому +2

      No pedals. Cable from guitar directly into the amp.

    What's the blue tape for?

    • @povguitarla
      @povguitarla  Рік тому +1

      Sometimes, when I'm recording I draw the "settings" for gain and eq as my starting point if I want to go back to them later. Any colored tape works.
