Thanks for making the comparison today. Always love these comparisons, they're super entertaining to watch somehow. I also love the standard reviews aswell, simple & straight to the point.
Techne back at it again with an awesome comparison of two awesome headsets. I got the Cloud II Wireless two weeks ago and it’s hands-down my favorite headset I’ve ever owned and I’ve gone through some headsets. I really wanted to love the Arctic Pro Wireless but the sound just doesn’t beat HyperX sound, unless you go audiophile headphones. Would do the Penrose but I already own the Mobius so I just wanted an alternative style headset.
@@faiello19 I personally had to return them because of very noticeable static white noise in the backround. Apparently that's normal, but I couldn't stand it.
@@faiello19 as far as wireless headsets go it’s not bad. They’re definitely not as loud as the wired version. I agree with Techne that it would be nice if they got a pinch louder.
I took your advice and got the cloud core wireless over the cloud 2 wireless. Though cloud 2 wireless wasn't available or flight. So I opted for cloud core wireless for pc.
Thanks for the advice and review! I wanna buy the core because of the price mostly, but I also have a small head and don't use the mic because I have another mic. Sad thing is tho, I can't find them anywhere in my country's shops. Such a shame.
Thanks dude, another great comparison. If you don’t mind, please do another comparison between Astro A20 Gen 2, Core Wireless and a few more headsets around the same price point 🙏🏼😊 Don’t worry it’s not your ears, HyperX headsets do have quite a bit lower volume than most other headsets. I think it’s a no brainer which one to choose and that’s 100% Core Wireless. If both have the same sound and to my ears the mic sounds the same on both as well, so unless an extra 10 hours of battery matters to someone, definitely the Core Wireless.
Thanks for a thorough and engaging review as always bro :D Any possibility of weakness in a hinge is a massive deal. It's the reason I'll probably never buy a SS Arctis headset again. Had the OG Arctis 5, unfortunately mic died and warranty replacement was the re-release of the Arctis 5. Hinge/cup didn't last long. Fortunately, deemed factory defect by retailer and they gave me a credit. Bought the Arctis Pro (non-dac) which had a good 3 year innings but the right cup cracked at the hinge from normal use. Treated them very delicately. Average to below average sound quality, terrible build quality. I'm done. Gonna miss the chat mix wheel, but nothing I can't manage with EarTrumpet + Keybinds. Probably gonna pick up a Cloud 3 Wireless, unfortunately Cloud 2s are no longer available in my country and importing wouldn't be worth the added cost.

I can't wait for the blacked out version of Hyperx Alpha wireless.....when it finally releases. I am really curious what they did with the battery that can last up to 300 hours.
Wait, no joke they really making the HyperX Alpha Wireless? And if so will it still have a detachable 3.5mm cable for when you want to use it on any device. Really hope they can do the same thing that Turtle Beach just made with the Stealth 700Gen 2 Max where they are wireless, works for 40hours straight, USBC rechargeable where you can get 8 hours of use with 10 minutes of fast charging. AND THE BEST FEATURE....A USB dongle that makes the one model work with Xbox One/Series S and X/PS4 and PS5/ Nintendo Switch and even PC. (As well as Bluetooth 5.1 so you can listen to Music or answer phone calls while gaming on any device)
I would say it's worth going for the core wireless for the sturdier build, been using the og cloud flight for 2 yrs and I can say you must be extremely careful with the plastic build
