It done great in Iraq and Afghanistan, but in a contested airspace it’s going to get taken out.

Drones can be electronically jammed. Fall out of the sky.
    Usless.

You're thinking of the childs toy referred to as a drone by people who have no idea what they're talking about. That's a remote controlled RC quadcopter, not a "drone" is according to Websters ": an uncrewed aircraft or vessel guided by remote control or onboard computers: such as" or onboard computers; military drones have fall back onboard computers programmed before the mission begins what to do in the event of losing connection.
It would be a waste of an aitcraft built for a pilot but to suggest jamming would cause it to drop out of the sky, if that were true the durka's and russians wouldn't have gps spoofing. They have to jam the communication, then spoof the GPS so the drone thinks it's higher then it is, then it brings it's self lower if done correctly that causes it to crash; but some camera's and AI could prevent that, not to mention a barometric pressure sensor and GIS data.
No offense but you sound like a child, I assume you're like 8?

Keeping the aging B-52 is fine, but they throw away the just as important A-10? If nothing else... convert them to drones.

They didn't throw them away they put them in storage and making them into "drones" is a waste we can build new airframes for that. "By the end of the 2020's" WWIII is going to break out in earnest around 2027 when China is expected to invade Taiwan.

The A-10 is a flying tank. It still can do the job in an area dominated by Allied air superiority. They received new wings, for God's sake, and about the ONLY IMPROVEMENT the A-10 needs is more powerful turbofans for quicker egress from the battlefield. The civilian version the the TF-34 engines produce more power which would be ideally suitable, since it's basically the same engine.
I'd keep the A-10s forever until they fall apart. The very best attack aircraft ever.
