I recently got gear from Pesado, great quality and service. The HE basket improves the coffee flavour in an impressive way. Great video, very enjoyable, I hope to stop there when in GC. The only odd thing was that Andrea used an automatic tamper instead a Pesado tamper which is where the business started 😄
Never knew Pesado were even Aussies let alone fellow Queenslanders. That frankenportafilter is freaking awesome. Controlling flow on the portafilter really opens up possibilities for espresso machines that don't have flow or pressure. profiling. That is a freaking game changer. The new baskets did he say how much they are going to cost?
Yeh it's great to have a Queensland company doing such innovation! Putting us on the map! Love the frankenportafilter name. I'll have to start using that. 😂 He didn't reveal the price but I can tell you it will be close to half the other high extraction baskets out there!
Thank you!! 🙌🙏 The tamping station isn't far off I believe. The prototype I saw suggests only a few months. The coffee storage looks amazing and will be considerably cheaper than the Weber workshops version (and better!).
What was the "normal" basket for comparison? A crap cheap one or at least a decent one (e.g IMS; Marzocco X filter etc)? Using a crappy baseline will make any high extraction basket look good. How does this one compare to Weber Workshops unifilter?
@@RydecoffeecoachThat sounds pretty impressive then, so this is a new high precision one that can not yet be found on their website? I only found a regular one there (which I assume is the one to which it was compared to in the video).

Look at that Mavam! Beautiful! What a great machine. Cool baskets.
Thanks for another video!
I know, the Mavam is a very underrated brand that do some amazing machines. I'll have to do a review on them.
Great video

Great video mate!!! Is there an eta on Pesado’s tamping station? Thanks for all the great content 🙏🏾🙏🏾

That sounds amazing!!! Can’t wait 🎉
what would be the configuration for getting the TPD for a 51mm basket or even a 58mm. Does this TPD work for these sizes for my machines?
It would work with the 58mm but not the 51mm. It's really hard to find these sort of instruments for 51mm, it would be a custom build I think.

Nah it was a Pesado one which are already on par with IMS and Pullman baskets.
