    how many targets can be detected simultaneously? Does this method generate multidimensional data like Nanostring?

      having the same question. If so, it can somewhat outcompete sc-RNA seq.

      I don't know if I'm answering your question but you can use 2 different probes simultaneously :)

      They've come up with a higher plex since you asked this question, @dorin. As of 2022 you can plex 12 targets in FFPE and 48 in Fresh Frozen. Nanostring's new system, CosMx, however - can detect up to 1000 currently with plans to expand that even further.
