lost of the people say they aren't, but those people are the ones that trash these cars around and the trailblazers with the same engine around lol, my dad has a 2006 chevy trail blazer with the 6 cylinder and he bought it new and actually took care of it and the thing has been nothing but reliable ever since
Now that sounds good!!! Most people get off on turbo whistle and bouncing off the rev limiter. I like a solid running engine with a deep throaty exhaust. Thanks
@@Max-nu1bd hey shit, sorry for the late reply i didnt even get a notification:( but i definitely feel a difference. Especially since now my exhaust is straight piped. Its absolutely worth it in my opinion.
What exactly did you remove when you removed the ugly resonator, I just learned about intake resonators so idk which one you may be referring to but either way i would want to remove both
I tried finding the super 44 on Amazon but it suggests a 2.25in/out is that the right one or is it 2.5in/out? Also, in this video do you still have the stock muffler and the super 44 where the resonator was or straight pipe back from the super 44? Thanks in advance.
@@theupscale7130 so the exhaust is 3 in back or is that bigger than stock? Just trying to confirm... I'm having my cat replaced and would like to install a super 44 while I'm at it. Thanks alot. Love the vids. The electric fan mod/tune would be next on the list.
Thanks for the reply, I have a trailblazer and I'm trying to decide what exhaust to go with. I was thinking of doing it with the super 10, but having to super tens in the rear of the truck. One where the old resonator was and the other on the opposite side. Except I'm not sure if there's room for me to do it.if I don't go that route then I would probably go with your setup. What size piping did you use for the inlet,n what's the size for the outlet.. I'm also debating on getting the SS bumper but it's pretty expensive . So I thought of running the pipe directly through the rear reflectors on the back bumper
Im getting the ss bumper rear and front now, gonna have this super 44 exhaust dual and a short ram air intake cause fr that isnt a cai intake since that thermal wall wont really be doing that much it'll still get hot but in the meantime I wont have the bumper in time for the exhaust and power steering next week so imma have them make it where I can adjust the mounting later when I have the SS bumper to get a good fitment
If I get a flowmaster super 44 with dual outlet, is there enough room to run dual pipes from the exhaust,or would I have to get a single outlet and then get a y pipe to split the exhaust to the rear?
Honestly you can do both. Just see whatever is cheaper for you. I seen there was some kits that had a dual exhaust already made, so im sure theres room
Hopefully I’m not to late but i got a 08 tb and I kinda wanna do what you did but did it hurt your engine after all these years and have you got it tuned?
Never had any engine problems, finally had the trans go out after 5 years though lol no big deal, only costed 1k for rebuild lol And yeah I got a mail order tune from PCMofNC. They have great stuff!!
I did end up getting a tune later on a long time after this. My truck ran fine after adding the CAI, it did run a little rich though. Nothing wrong with that, it actually had big pop/ crackle after giving gas and then letting off at like 2500 rpm. Definitely you can drive around with no problems after installing this, if thats what you're worried about, your truck might run a little rich afterwards, but better rich than lean :)
I just want to get rid of that resonator and get the Magna flow exhaust and a cold air and a tune. Don't want it too loud, just lower the back pressure and increase the flow. Thanks for the video 👍🏿

It's around 10hp, you can definitely feel it and definitely hear a huge difference in sound. Also i actually do get 2mpg gain, maybe thats what you meant?
If i remember, it's definitely noticeable but it's really nothing as bad as it was straight piped. This is about as good as it can get without being annoying lol
Jacin Luongo the muffler did the same for me because it's not an oem part. All that matters is that it's 3" and has an offset. I had a shop cut mine out and put that one and weld some pipes for $100 then recently I went back and straight piped it for $75. I'm just waiting for the weather to get better before I make a video on it
@@Zachsquatchin The drone with a Super 44 is not bad, you can just turn the radio up a little if you don't want to hear it. The Denali just sounds like a Silverado 5.3, not really aggressive. A straight pipe drones pretty bad though. You'll get tired of it quick with a straight pipe.

The one i bought was actually a 3in. In the video i just have the super 44. It goes from engine, cats (stock), super 44, then pipes.
