I'm really glad to see this video uploaded. It helps Taiwanese to share their own thoughts towards Taiwan with the world, making Taiwanese identity clear. Taiwan has already created their own way of living and they should be given the right to decide who they are. Chinese government and its people should understand one thing. Taiwan is not theirs but belongs to those who call Taiwan their homeland.

Is it common for people in Taiwan to use certain English words instead of Chinese? Like the lady at 6:58 was saying "surprise" and "debate" in English. I've also seen this in other Easy Taiwanese Mandarin videos. Do people do this in everyday speech?

      Yung Chun Chang
      回到你的問題,為什麼有這麼多飛彈會對著台灣,
      因為西藏香港新疆都跟他們在同片陸地上,
      我們格了一道海峽,飛彈會比較有效

    • @chenchangpo
      @chenchangpo 6 років тому +2

      Yung Chun Chang 還有,希望你能理解,
      中國,是個抽象的概念,
      基本上沒有這個東西,
      你看到的,只是一個在那片充滿各式各樣民族文化土地上最會殺人抗爭的民族,
      戰勝其他文化的一個漢人自稱的狂名而已,
      是一個不健康的病態現象

      ...你是認真的問還是反串啊...
      台灣在運作上跟一個獨立國家有95%的差不多了,除了國名混亂、國際地位尷尬,還有中華人民共和國一天到晚宣傳台灣是自己的一個省外。台灣跟中國(PRC)的相處方式其實除了民間人員流動和活絡的經濟交流外,實質上還是敵國(中國方的說法是「內戰中」)而且還算是世界上有名的火藥庫之一...雖然平常看起來挺和平、有時還是很劍拔弩張的,本質上還是敵人。就算不偏袒任何一方的說法,實際運作上台灣並「不附屬」於中國、所以沒有向中國報告這種事情。雖然現在的交流比較多,但本質上雙方還是缺乏互信,所以中國對台灣的溝通管道基本上就是利誘和恐嚇兩種交替使用、沒有垂直的管道,只是中國用盡一切文詞修飾想讓雙方交流看起來不是對等的而是上對下、至少中國是這樣告訴自己國內的人的,當然中國對世界各國也是這樣宣傳,各國的態度大致分為
      1.只想做生意撈錢、中國市場比較大所以國際公開場合大致是接受中國說法的樣子、但在和台灣做生意時又大致上當成獨立國家對待,見人說人話見鬼說鬼話 ex東南亞等世界上大部分國家
      2. 和1差不多只在乎利益,但台灣的獨立運作影響他們的利害/或是本身充斥自由派思想、感性上偏好實際上是個民主獨立政體的台灣,所以雖然差不多也是公開場合支持中國說法、但語氣會更曖昧(譬如說「認知到」中國說法或「充分尊重」),而在政治或軍事方面小心翼翼的以類國家規格和台灣交流or私底下內心就是把台灣看成國家ex歐盟等已開發國家,其中美國和日本跟台灣最利害相關、所以態度曖昧的也更嚴重,尤其美國基本上是明目張膽的賣台灣武器,美國國內台灣相關聯行政法律官方見解上是認為台灣是獨立國家、但是他們認為不大剌剌的在全世界範圍要求台灣被承認更符合現狀和美國利益,所以對中國的說法差不多是「不支持也不反對,我“尊重”你」,硬要分的話美國口頭上比較討好中國、但實質上基本是和中國對著幹
      3. 毫不在乎自由或民主甚至人權, 需要中國的軍事/經濟支援,不管中國說什麼全盤照收、賣力跪舔,至於台灣實際上運作如何根本想都懶得想:台灣是什麼能給我好處嗎?ex.非洲拉美等中國撒幣友好國,差不多就是吸血吸最用力的,或是除開經濟外也真的和中國鐵的很的如巴基斯坦寮國柬埔寨
      4. 接受台灣的經濟和其他援助、台灣版的吸血國,或長期和台灣有合作關係和交流、歷史種族(南島民族)與感情聯繫,或者只是沒那麼需要錢也暫時找不到什麼需要去棄台投中的, 台灣少的可憐的「邦交國」ex海地、帛流和梵蒂岡等
      實質上台灣作為獨立國運作,和中國大陸上的政府已經分開六十年以上、從乙未割台到現在123年中和大陸處於同一個政府和法政體系下運作的只有4年,完全是獨立發展的生態了、繁體字當然保留的下來,中國是無法影響台灣內部施政的。他們倒是會試著用軍事恐嚇之類的方式來影響,不過目前成功的也只有「讓台灣人民不敢大張旗鼓的表示要成立明確的、和中國大陸涇渭分明的新國家」,其他時候中國數次嘗試用武力恐嚇來威脅台灣百姓不得投票給某些政黨、基本上都是反效果,你越恐嚇台灣人就越腦充血、越要跟你賭氣對槓...

Taiwanese use Mandarin as official language. Hokkien is a Chinese dialect which includes Taiwanese. There are people in southern mainland China speak Hokkien. Hokkien in mainland and Taiwanese in Taiwan are a little different. Most Chinese dialects have same writing, a person only speak cantonese can understand writing of Mandarin but not in spoken form. Taiwanese Mandarin and Mainland Mandarin are like British English and American English. A native speaker of either should not have trouble communicate each other. There may be some phrases use different like 警察(police in taiwan) 公安( police in china). However, that's just like garbage and rubbish in American and UK. Traditional and simplified really doesn't make that much difference for natives beyond politics. There may be some characters like 業 to 业, 龍 to 龙, 聖 to 圣 taiwanese may not immediate identify if they never saw before. However, most sentences go from traditional to simplified usually are like 我吃飽了 to 我吃饱了。 Difference aren't really incomprehensible for people understand mandarin. Some simplified character like 體 to 体, 號 to 号, 學 to 学, 國 to 国 are even used by Taiwanese in writing due to its complexities and some Japanese influences. Japan ruled Taiwan 50 years before WWll ended. Japanese use around 2000 Chinese Characters they call Kanji. Some Chinese characters used by Japanese are simplified by Japanese, some are created by Japanese. When Mainland China simplified characters, many simplifications are made based on Chinese Calligraphy writing in different forms. However, some of them are taken from Japanese simplification.

Funny how you think everything has to go YOUR way. If you're so interested in learning simplied Chinese, you could either
      1. ask politely for simplified Chinese, since that's an extra favor you're asking, or
      2. find other materials in simplified characters on your own behalf.
How you assume every video not catering to your preference as an act of discrimination is simply pathetic.
