  • This video will help you fix brown leaves on your houseplants and keep your plants looking great.
I discuss how you can find out why your houseplants are getting brown leaf tips, leaf edges, or brown spots, and take easy steps to get your plant back in perfect health.
Brown leaves can be caused by many different things including problems with watering, humidity, lighting, temperature, fertilizing, pests, disease, and many more issues.
The key is to examine your plant and the care conditions really closely and pick up on the clues that will tell you what the problem is.

Good advice, thanks. It's very educational to hear how you troubleshoot issues with the plants, too.

I think my dieffenbachia has some type of virus or fungal or bacteria. Every day a new leave has a "v" shaped brown spot on it. I will cut them off, then next day it will have a few more. It just tried 2 flower, so I cut the flowers off. I think its slowly dying... My concern is it spreading to my other plants!

I use cold boiled water for all my plants. This way a lot of tap water impurities are reduced
