This is easily Dream Theater's biggest hit, with a bass line to match. The high tempo is full of semiquavers, and features an ascending minor scale lick that took a bit of practice! There is also some great use of harmonics in the interlude.

I know it's Dream Theater, but as always, their more simple sounding songs are still difficult. I haven't played bass in 20 years and have to start back at the beginning. I used to be able to play Mudvayne songs but damn. This is why John Myung is one of my top 4 favorites (John Myung, Ryan Martinie, Billy Sheehan and Les Claypool)

been trying to get the scale run down on this one any tips for fingering on the left hand its not the rhythm on the right that is the issue but scale runs on the left :

Slow it down and play increasing the speed a little by little I started at 86 and got to 102 in 3 days 😢 cos I’m bad but I’m sure you can do it quicker
