I have more videos coming out soon if you are a first time flight attendant so that you get an idea of what this wacky lifestyle is like. It’s very cool and fun but it’s wacky. Lol. Til then, thanks for watching and subscribing. Talk soon. 😁
Ive training starting in two weeks, I followed your channel all along throughout my application process, started more than six months ago, and now that I've finally made it to training, in nervous and excited, but people are stressing out the most, the ones who have finished training, they saying its not for faint hearted people. So hoping to get my wings with flying colors 🎉✈️🪽
@@ZuneraHashmi hello there. Hope you’re doing well. I’m so excited for you that you’re starting training. You’ll be on the line before you know it. Yes, I would say the first year would be the most challenging for several reasons. One, it’s a new career and you’re getting used to a new company. Second, you have to learn everything that they did not teach you in training, which is what most of the job is all about. And lastly, you have to deal with your seniority and not getting everything that you want at the start. But don’t worry time will pass and your seniority will get better and better and that will make the job easier as time goes on. Not to mention you’ll also be making more money the longer you stay on the job. Just hang in there and everything will be great. I wish you all the very best. Have a wonderful holiday season.😃
VF, well presented for sure. I assure you every carrier is searching the internet regularly to seek out these test answers and supposed shortcuts. And none of them will really help you arm a door until you do it yourself. Herman
Hey there, Herman. Great to hear from you. Hope you’re doing well. Yes, I completely agree. The reality is that there is so much to do in class that you barely have time to look on the Internet for any study guys anyway. So it’s best to use your time to focus on Instruction from your instructors. Have a wonderful day. We’ll talk soon. 😁
Hi there Tina. Thank you so very much for the comment. I’m happy that you enjoy the tips. I plan to have more tips. Come out as time goes on. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and an amazing new year. Thanks for stopping by. Take care. 😁
Thank you for your insight brother! You explain things so organically. I've really enjoyed your content. I've recently submitted my video interview, eagerly awaiting the F2F invite and I will be following all of your tips!
That is amazing. All the best of luck to you. And thank you so much for the comment on the channel. I really appreciate that. I’ll have more content up soon. Have a wonderful day. And let me know if you have any specific questions I can answer for you. Take care. 😁
Thank you very much for sharing all the details. I am very enjoying to your presentation. I am so proud of you for successful passing the training. It is very helpful for people who is on their way for attending a flight attendant training. I had worked for an Asian carrier for 19 years before I laid off at the beginning of covid pandemic. I went for my current airline training while I was attending a trade school. Luckily my training was from 4 pm to midnight so I was able to continually attend my trade school and flight attendant training. It was tough so I missed the fun part of my training. Your presentation remind my happy time during my training,
Thanks again Justin. Always great to hear from you. I do hope that the channel and the information I present is very helpful for those looking to get into the aviation life. 😁
I'm all caught up with your channel! Thank you for another awesome, informative video! I got my assessment invite and will be doing it today! Looking forward to all your future videos. Travel safe! 🛫
Great video, I have watched all your videos congratulations to you, I want to become a FA, however I'm feeling stressed and I have not even applied yet, scared of leaving my job of 20 plus years and don't make it and have to start all over.
Hi there, Sharonda. That is so sweet of you to say. I hope the videos have inspired you to imagine a new career for yourself. It is definitely an adventure yet sometimes a wacky lifestyle. I totally understand that it would be hard to leave a job after so long and losing your place. Maybe there’s something that can be worked out with your job so you don’t lose your place, who knows? In the meanwhile, I’m always here to answer any questions that you may have. I do have more videos coming out shortly that might continue your inspiration. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing. Talk soon. 😀
Thanks for posting video very informative. I go to training in Dallas in less than 2 weeks. I was wondering could you Amazon everyday products to the hotel you staying in? Laundry detergent , socks lol etc. ?
I think you can. Just check with your airline first to make sure that is possible to do. Congratulations on your upcoming training. I wish you all the best. 😁🎉
@@valenciaflyer thanks for response . I'll look more into that . Got 2 questions. Do u have to recite the safety brief in front of a board and where can I find that info to start now ? Also could u waive the medical insurance coverage ? Sounds nuts right but I'm retired law enforcement from NY so I am lucky to have have my medical insurance as a retiree. Thanks again for your time. Looking forward to the training .
Hey there, Andy. This all depends on your airline. Furthermore, it also depends on what training curriculum they have. They are always updating their curriculum to keep with the times. As far as waving your medical insurance, yes, I believe you can do that. I personally don’t have my insurance through my airline. But again check the airline you’re going for for more information. Hope that helps a little. Thanks so much.
U sir u have what my kids call Rizz .. I thought it was an infection lol but what it's short for is charisma or 😎. Thanks again brother and be safe up there .
Hi there. I am mainline. Looks like my airline has stopped hiring for the time being. We are in the middle of training the 2024 class now. But look out for things to open up again soon. You never know when they decide that they will need more. Thanks for watching and subscribing. See you soon. 😀
Can you help us with a budget of food cost estimate and how much would you suggest you bring for the training? Where does one do laundry (does hotel provide that)? How many luggage’s of clothes should we pack, an we pack a carry on of snacks to hold up our pantry? I appreciate all this info. I m a study alone person and am social but as you said you are here for a job and to pass and that’s my main focus. Being professional and sticking to my objective in this brand new career path. 🙏🏼✈️
Hi there. If you’re planning to not bring food, I would say expect to pay between 15 and $20 per meal. If you do bring food that would be a good idea but depending on the hotel that you’re going to be put in depends on whether you will have a refrigerator to store the food. I would only pack one luggage full of clothing, since you’ll be wearing a uniform for most of the training. I wouldn’t go too crazy on what you take as long as it’s comfortable and you have the essentials. I wish you all the best during training. Let me know how it goes. Take care. 😄
@@valenciaflyer Thanknyou Valencia. I was thinking of taking granola box and nuts or cereal. Dry goods that may last. I’ll be in Endeavor Air but still no clue if we will be using uniform for training and/or just formal clothes. Do the hotels allow trainees to do laundry on premise or is that charged ? I will certainly take your advice and pack 1/ casual-formal - 1/ uniform space.
I’m so sorry that your first attempt was not successful. But if you ever do attempt to do it again, you know what to expect. And that will most likely make you successful on the second try. Today marks exactly one year for me with my company. And it has been a wonderful first year with many more years to come. So if you if this is something you really want to do please don’t give up. Keep going. I wish you all the best. 😃
That's is funny that you mentioned the airport codes. When I went through training, on day one we had to fill in all the airport codes the airline flew into. Wouldn't you still need to have knowledge of that today?
Hi there. Great question. Cause of technology you have quick access to all airport codes on your devices. Therefore it is no longer part of training to be tested on airport codes. At least with my airline. Overtime you’ll learn them during training and in the job anyway. Thanks for the question and for watching and subscribing! Have a great day. 😃
Your video is very helpful. When your airlines flew you for F2F, who pays for the hotel if you had to fly from far that you can’t return home on the same day? Were you able to get your 1st wish for base assignment? Can you bid a flight which is not your base as long as you can fly standby to get there? For example, you are SEA based, can you get a flight from EWR-LHR?
Hi there. Thanks for the questions. Normally the airline pays for the flight and puts you up but this will depend on the airline. Next, it depends on what bases are open. You will then choose from that and hope you get it. And lastly, you can only bid from your specific base. You can pick up from another base after schedules have come out but again this will depend on the airline you work for. Hope that helps! 😁
Hey there, Alex. Yes, in my experience, they are multiple-choice. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you and have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. 😃
Hi, thank you very much for the video! My daughter is thinking about a training for flight attendant. She will be graduating HS in a month. I was wondering where can we start? We live in the state of Kentucky. But I have no idea of how to guide her. Once again, thank you for your time. God bless you.
Hi there. Thanks for the question. So first thing is that most airlines require you to be 21 because of the serving of alcohol. So know that up front. But she can still be hired at an airline perhaps at the gate agent level or ticketing then move to in flight once she comes of age. She will increase her seniority at the same time so that will help when she becomes a flight attendant. Another thought: How about becoming a pilot? Great money, great benefits and that she can start now since it takes a bit of time to get there. Just a thought. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and subscribing! All the best to you guys. 😃

Congratulations on moving forward in your training. I wish you all the very best. I’m not familiar with the way Cathay Airline works. So sorry. But I think that you will be heading to training soon. Where will you be based?
Failed 4 doors? One of Canadian airlines allows 2 retakes only and fails which is not right. Moreover all passing scores are over 90%. However some flight attendants of it don’t know well in real after the training. What the airline focuses on test itself, rather than their actual operational performances. Giving 2 chances on both practical and written tests are somewhat ridiculous and awkward because after all in case of emergency issuing with wording or mistakes are nothing to with emergency management. They are flight attendants but not scholars. It’s not mathematics’ training.
