Mike your videos show proof that your tools can not only make your job easier but much faster and efficient installations. Not having the right tools will slow you down and also cost the homeowner less in labor. This is also why you can get a 2 day job down to a few hrs. Customers question your prices, but in the end, this is why you charge what you charge a good work Mikey pipes and congrats on your new channel. You’ll always have subscribers here.

Pretty sick looking unit. I install Rheem/Raypak pool heaters at work and have been considering upgrading my hot water tank at home. I know they build a pretty decent product. Job well done as always guys. Keep making these trades great.

Mike, I’m up in southern New York state and I use Viega pure flow fittings all the time. Most of the time that I use them under crawlspaces is where it is easier and quicker to assemble the baseboard loops. Sometimes I use the expansion tool, but for the most part I use the pure flow fittings. I also found that when you have tight joints the pure flow works better on install. Great videos.

Peter is absolutely right about the flush valves! There is also no sediment trap on the gas line!

I think NY went to no drips allowed. I know at least the city did, I know plumbers in the city. Not sure why. Especially with all the new high pressure gas carries more moisture.

Viega pure flow is great been using with my dad for 10 years. Only negative thing is the fittings are slightly smaller id.
I’ve seen leaks from expansion not sure if it’s the chloromine in our domestic water. We stub in copper on holdrites. The sound of that press cycling is the sound of $$$

Just an aesthetic comment Mikey!!! I always make sure and turn the lettering away on my pvc pipe, and also I hate, just really hate primer drips!!! That being said, nice job and how dare that customer bargain that much, lol.

My whole house is pexA including the radiant heat in the concrete basement and upstairs. I have never had a single issue with it in 22 years. I am a real fan of wirsbo/Uponor. Even Home Depot is carrying some of it now. Nice to see you using it.

Could have used a circ valve on furthest fixture with no return line to save some money on bid right?

Hey Mike, explain why you put the hot and cold pex next to each other, are you not worried about thermal transfer between hot and cold, I'm thinking they need to be at least 4" apart or insulated.
