Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, primarily used to treat depression resistant to other treatments. prTMS/TMS has given me a great deal of memory trouble. Memory loss was one of the first side effects for me (as explained to me by others who witnessed me at the time - I do not remember not being able to remember in the early stages of post-TMS shock).
It has been roughly 15 months since I completed the treatment, and I still struggle remembering things that I have known most of my life, such as how to turn on the dishwasher, remembering important safety things such as switching off heating devices, locking doors, etc.
I also seem to have lost a fair bit of memory concerning interpersonal relationships; e.g. remembering what a friend does for a living, or when I last saw them, etc.
Memory loss is not the most significant complication I have had post-TMS, and I am aware that my situation/response seems to be exceedingly rare, but a) I am still human, and; b) it's not as rare as it is made out to be, as a significant number of other people are having similar problems post-TMS, and were similarly lacking the appropriate medical warnings.

Im so sorry for your troubles, this sounds very troubling!
I’m a little confused though, did you do PrTMS or did you do standard TMS?
I’d also like to know if this is something that you noticed post TMS or if your memory started during your sessions?
Thank you for the information and again I’m so sorry that youre dealing with this. I’d love to talk with you further

@@italktms As I understand it, "TMS" is a term for the general application of this technology.
The treatment I had was repetitive. There were no brain scans done prior to treatment.
[To speak plainly; I had 34 sessions of 5Hz on the left hemisphere, 4 treatments of 1Hz on the right hemisphere, although these treatments were combined, such that the total was still 34 sessions, Monday to Friday]
(Thank you for the question) No; memory loss started about three weeks after the cessation of treatment.
Feel free to talk to me further.

      Thank you for your response!
This video is me speaking to my response to PrTMS. It was important for me to make this video because I have heard many people who struggle with the side affect that your speaking of here.
The Dr. in this video is the man that created the P in Prtms and also the one who treated me
