Matt. Said it before, the 2 is the very best car in the current BMW line up. Nigh on perfection! 240i is the one to go for. And yes you are right, the body colour changes just make it work. 💯👍👌
I have an M240i on order and it should be landing within the next few weeks. I’ve gone for Fire red matallic. Be interesting to see what it’s like after my M440i.
This is my current favourite BMW in the line up. I think the changes they've made on the exterior to get rid of the gloss black along the sills and the rear bumper are a big improvement along with giving it proper tail pipes, these changes seemed to be the main ones I've seen with modified cars so clearly there was a calling for it amongst customers. The new steering wheel looks great but the removal of physical A/C controls is a mistake, every car I've driven with them integrated into the touch screen has been far less easy to use on the move than buttons/dials but at least they've retained proper buttons on the wheel for media and phone controls. I really hope they permanently keep the idrive rotary controller, its brilliant. I also think the pricing is very competitive compared to the competition. All in all it looks like a good refresh.
lovely update to bring it in line with the 4, just a shame about the new standard seats. Previous generation with the leather alcantara and blue stitch looked great.
Good looking car but beyond affordability for me. If they can keep the controller in this model why can' they do so in the new 1 series ? Climate controls on a screen not a good move but the controller helps.
I bought a 230i here in America in July. Portimao Blue. She is a beauty with lots of power and a eye looker.

The physical A/C controls were already gone since the 2022 facelift (which brought the big curved screen and iDrive8), correct?

Wish we had the cloth seat option here in the U.S....can't get it on any BMW model here as far as I know.
