There are some improvements with the "LCI" if you want to call it that, but there's also a lot of small things that are worse IMO. And I actually really like the black rocker panels. Still an amazing car! Worth every penny smiles per mile.
How has your rear diffuser held up during washes? I washed my car for the first time and its already swirled up pretty bad, rest of the car was ok since it has ceramic coating, but I don't think the coating has any effect on plastics.

Both would have the same specs, the 2024 obviously doesn’t have the new features of the LCI, but the price of the 2024 is significantly less (8-10k). Which option would you go for, are these new features in the LCI worth the extra money, eg idrive 8.5? Thank you🙏🏾
I think it will come down to the colours and how much value you place on the additions. I think the 2024 will be just fine and for that much less in price, sounds like good value

My black MY 23’ car basically looks like this 2nd lci? Because 23’ saw horsepower jump to 382 along with the single screen and various aircon updates. Maybe even a knob for the transmission. Anyways I want a 25’ in zandvoort blue because the black is so hard to maintain and with the side skirts and rear bumper now being body matched I can order other colors. But mainly switching for the sunroof deletion option!
Knee pads are missing from G20 2025 and 2 and 4 series have it, strange thing. They removed the ambient lighting from trim on passenger side. This airvents and small part used for redirecting the air looks cheep and not so firm( i “tested” in new G20)
its not firm but its not coming off either, I kind of like this ambient light better for 2 series, but I prefer previous for 3 and 4 series as they actually had the strips but it gives more focus on the chose colour
That PPIed fast. So, the illuminated M trim, I was getting, however you get the standard brushed aluminum only. Dashboard is aluminum, no light on dash like 2022 2023. I switched to CF, but you can't get CF and M illuminated. Dumb. Looking at the aluminum here, even though it's different then brushed, glad I dropped the M illuminated trim and got CF. Love to see the illuminated trim and one with CF. I got btw same time, shadow line, black paint red seats.
i love the new wheel needs to be bronze and need brake color customization need option for bigger wing i put the m2 wing on mine wish the rear diffuser wraped around the tail pipes idk about the paint match love the knee pad and the steering wheel but hate the red center line on it come on bmw get cooled seats

We really need to celebrate the END of piano black interior dash trim… makes me want to trade in for the 2025 model! But the end of the heated steering wheel button is sad. The whole trend is lame 😩
thank you for watching! The matte grey standard trim is pretty good. I'm glad 2025 can also get CF trim in Canada. Heated steering wheel in the screen is whatever, if I need it, normally already on when I pre-condition the vehicle
@@Bigguns761 Everyone has always complained about piano black on the inside so to show hatred for the customer, BMW put it right where the dirt could hit it and said there you go.
@@Digiphex I like piano black. yeah you get some glare with the sun, and u have to clean it often, but it looks good. On the exterior, I like it, it creates a contrast with the rest of the car making it look more sporty to me.
I also dont like the new wheels. To thick. They could have similar design as 826 m wheels for M3/m4 . Now the only option that may be considered are 792M wheels( at least for g20)
I love them, I think they are instantly recognizable as the 2 series lights and nothing else looks like it. At first they looked strange but I really like them now

Matching panels are a big improvement. It's one of the reasons I preferred the black.

In the owner manual it says the mild hybrid technology is located under the cover in the engine compartment on the front passenger side.
The diesel model is the only one that is mild hybrid and it is not in my market

@@rs22296 I wrapped my entire vehicle in paint protection film so swirls are not a problem :)
I have 2022 M240xi; love it with all the bells & whistles; also a gear shift to shift manually. Newer ones have a dial in place of my floor shifter

That thing was simply amazing and the fit and finish on BMW is second to none!

All of my piano exterior and interior is a total pain to maintain.
Not putting piano black on the outside is a huge fix of a massive mistake and error by BMW.

I'm good with 792 or even 791 but my 797 is replaced with 995M and that was my go to no charge non runflat performance tire option lol

Man…as a G87 owner, it hurts me that this gets Knee pad and 360 cam. Both Great car though!
knee pads can be purchased, 360 cam is not standard but can be optioned on both cars
