Never heard this before

Wow! Thrilled with this version. Music Annie has a tendency to have very strong letters when sung even be felt real. Kelly Clarkson got past the part that same emotion. The final piece expresses all the reasons so fragile that has to be exposed, and for being so painful confession, excites both. Perfect!

I welcome this cover its a good crack and for a young person Kelly certainly captures the depth of emotion as best she can. One element that had me cringing was the instrumentation during the build up to the crescendo either the timing needs review or its a song best kept on piano. Search: "Annie Lennox - Why (HD/HQ Sound)" for what I consider the most moving rendition of this piece.

I much prefer this version to Annie's. Kelly has so much soul, while I think Annie Lennox's voice is too harsh.

That's the point. This song is not about being soulful, it's furious. Full of regret, anger and get the F out of my life. This version is just.....well......cute.

I've nothing against kelly, but she doesn't have the age required to sing a song like this. nothing wrong can be said about her voice, but the rendition is light-years away from being as spirited as annie's. you can hear that annie means what she's singing and that she's upset about it. this version is an empty vessel.

I am seeing & hearing a ton of emotion in this. It’s not necessarily anger but it’s sadness. A far cry from an empty vessel or emotionless performance.
