Thank you!! I so appreciate the helpful tips without strict rules about how a bouquet "should" be. You saying "it's whatevs" honestly took a lot of pressure off and made me feel more confident about the whole thing!
I'm so glad! With anything artistic, it's up to the artist/designer to create something they love. Do some practice bouquets ahead of time so you'll gain some muscle memory and feel extra confident when wedding week arrives. You've got this!!
I'm so glad I could help you on your floral journey! And yes, most florists I know can't build a bouquet without a mirror. It looks SO different when you see it head-on. XXXX, Amy
This is the best and yet the easiest way to make a bridal bouquet I've ever seen. I love the way you work ( my kind), easy, no fuss with beautiful result. Thanks for sharing your videos, I've learned a lot from it.☺
Thank you for such a kind affirmation! Bouquet building can be tricky when your hands don't have the muscle memory of holding them, so laying it down helps you figure out where you want the blooms, and the zip-tie let's you adjust it and pull it all together! XOXOX
Thank you! For greens: Huck, Salal, and the light is foraged from a tree in my yard. Flowers: Early Grey Roses, wax flower, spray roses, Queen Anne's lace, and a few sprigs of delphinium
Are you able to make a smaller version of this bouquet? I love the shape but I know we want our bridesmaids to have something a little smaller! Any adjustments to the tutorial for making one at smaller scale?
Oh sure, I'd suggest just cutting the amount of product by half. We have great recipes on our product pages that can help. Also, another way to do it is to build it in a small vase like a mason jar, pick it up, adjust, and then zip tie or tape. I love building maids, they are so much easier!
With this technique, after you've laid out the stems in a composition you like, pick it up in your hands and make any adjustments you need. Then secure the stems with a zip tie to keep everything in place, or simply pop your arrangement into a vase that will hold your stems in place!
No special treatment, just keep it in a cool room in a vase of fresh, clean water! When you buy wholesale, they have a much longer vase life and actually need to be in room temp to open to their full capacity.....whereas grocery store flowers have already been cut, processed, and out for a few days so their vase life is shorter.

Hello! Nice video! What flowers and greenery did you use?
Thank you!
For greens: Huck, Salal, and the light is foraged from a tree in my yard.
Flowers: Early Grey Roses, wax flower, spray roses, Queen Anne's lace, and a few sprigs of delphinium

Just found my wedding bouquet!
Awesome! We used Early Grey roses, berry spray roses, wax flower, delphinium, queen annes lace, protea, nagi, and bits of foraged greens!
How do you keep this in water with all the stems radiating out?
With this technique, after you've laid out the stems in a composition you like, pick it up in your hands and make any adjustments you need. Then secure the stems with a zip tie to keep everything in place, or simply pop your arrangement into a vase that will hold your stems in place!
If I made this the night before the wedding, what is the best way to keep it fresh without refrigeration?
No special treatment, just keep it in a cool room in a vase of fresh, clean water! Thanks again.🙏
I like your videos 😍
Thank you, sweet lady!
Is there a an online flower store that you could recommend ordering flowers from?
Flowermoxie.com
Beautiful! What type of rose is that?
Early Grey!
What is that bright, lime colored greenery?
It was actually a tree branch I foraged from. But you could use buplereum to get similar colors!
Wait, how many zip ties are there? I only saw one but at the end you said "cut away the original" and then "tighten the tie little by little" whaat??
Only 1 in the end....but I will add extra, cut off the old one, and put on a new one to let the new flowers into the fold. Make sense??! =)
yes thank you!!! your videos are giving me confidence to DIY my wedding!
Girl, you got this! Check out our flowers on www.flowermoxie.com
You can also see our past brides under Real Weddings. =)
