This was an awesome video! I grew all the flowers for my daughter's wedding...it's in 10 days and I'm sort of freaking out lol. Was very happy to find this video! Thank you!
That is amazing that you grew all the flowers! You've got this!!!
I’ve been growing flowers and doing market bouquets for a while now. I just started doing wedding florals. Thanks to this and your other spiral video, my first wedding process went incredibly smoothly and I was able to work quickly and create great results! No one thinks it was my first time! Thank you so much for creating content for those of us who can’t afford special courses.
I'm so glad you posted this, it truly made my day!!!! I love local, farm-grown flowers so I bet your bouquets looked stunning! Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave such an encouraging commment. XOXOX, Amy
I cannot possibly thank you enough !! I was struggling and I love my results 😭😭😭😭
This is a really great video. I tend to struggle with starting spirals and feel so awkward, especially as a left hander. This is a really beautiful bouquet 💐
I must like the kitchen sink type of bouquet because this is beautiful. I love how the colors develop in the bouquet.
Ha, same, Mary! Thank you for your kind comment, the internet needs more people like yourself! XO
Hi! This turned out beautiful! Do you think you could please list the names of the types of flowers you used in this bouquet? Thanks!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I've watched some other spiral technique videos and found them so confusing but yours made a lot of sense. So thanks for demystifying the spiral technique for me!! :)
You made my day! Thank you for leaving such kind feedback. XXXX, Amy
Thanks Amy for yet another beautiful tutorial. I tend to do what you said. While I'm building, I want it to look perfect like the end result and be frustrated. I practice to keep building.
Also, I LOVE your text inserts. 💕
Thank you so much, Zeba! I wondered if I was the only one who got flustered halfway through, I'm so glad I can help you on your floral journey! XXXX, Ames
Great video. I am not a florist or bouquet maker but with your video and some practice, I think I could do this.
You can totally do this! We all have to start somewhere and practice makes perfect!
Very beautiful 🌿🌿🌿
Wonderful flowers, thank you 🌹
Beautiful! I'll have to try this technique 👌
Let me know how it goes for you!!!
Thank you. I love it.
Glad you found it helpful!
Love! I like this technique. It's easy for me. Doing my first wedding in 3 years. A little nervous to say the least!
You'll do great! If you're nervy, then just practice with some foraged stuff and cheap grocery store blooms to build your confidence. I have no doubt you'll do an amazing job!!! Congrats on booking your wedding! XOXOX
Your added comments kill me!
Wow that is so beautiful.
Beautiful!
It’s just beautiful 💐
Don't tell Amy but you teach it way clearer lol she adds extra mombo and makes it sound more complicated than it is. This was very clear and easy!
So glad it was helpful! (It IS Amy teaching in this video!)
@@FlowerMoxie no lol I mean the floral coach ive seen her tutorials and it absolutely doesn't seem as clear when she is teaching the spiral. This was so clear!
the comments she adds omg 😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤ beutyfull falwar and you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wasn’t planning on building my bridal bouquet like this but now I think I might try 👀👀 Do you have to worry about bigger flowers getting smashed around at all with this technique?
I haven't experience that! Sometimes I worry about delicate ones like anemones so I just stick them out higher than the others and pull them in tighter at the end.
Love the way you described this. So comprehensive and just really lovely🌷
Also! Where'd you get that killer apron? Love it!
Thank you for your sweet comment! I got the apron from a restaurant supply website years ago. I like it because it's got some weight and can withstand my snips....tbh, I wanted the leather one but alas I was too cheap. 😬
I am working on a small bridal bouquet .
Shimmer rose, white spray rose, white lisianthus, white freesia, white stock, phaleonopsis pink orchid and maybe a rusty burgundy orchid ..is it okay to add 1 flower like blue larkspur or delphinium , do orchids like them? Hoping it will pop.
Does groom boutonniere have the same flowers as bride?
Your videos have been helping me so much,
thank you many times over.
That sounds so pretty! Adding larkspur or delphinium won't affect the orchids that you're adding to the bouquet, the fllowers should work really nicely together! We like to use a special flower that's featured in the brides bouquet as the grooms bout, spray roses, lisianthus, freesia blooms or an orchid blossom would be beautiful for this!
When you use a zip tie to secure the bouquet how do you deal with the hump when you want to wrap the stems with smooth satin ribbon?
I position it to the back and place my pins around it when securing the ribbon. That is the only downside to using zips, but my clients have never mentioned or noticed it. You can always use a rubberband instead, but sometimes I like the zips for specific bouquets.
great video. Do you process wildflowers the same way as commercially grown flowers? Do they last as long in a bouquet?
It depends on the type of flower! Wildflowers are typically big drinkers and prefer to be directly in water. You'll process the stems the same way, but make sure they're kept hydrated! To help them last longer give them a spray with fresh water or Crowning Glory!
Thank you! @@FlowerMoxie
PLEASE help me visualize my bridal bouquet!! I want an large spiral bouquet like this but I’m doing all white flowers but I can’t visualize the textures together. What do you think about Alabaster Garden Roses, white tweedia, white Veronica, and white ranunculus. I don’t like baby’s breath but I don’t
know what other white flowers I should add or if I should at all.
More of a garden cut spiral with some movement!
Those sound like great elements for a bouquet! You might want to try adding some White Stock, Cream spray roses, or white wax flower for some extra texture! White lisianthus also add a fun gardeny texture as well with its pretty buds. For some extra movement adding some greenery like Italian ruscus, Silver Dollar eucalyptus or Pennycress would be really pretty too!
Come tradurre in italiano?

Just want to see the bouquet tutorial…🤔🤔🤔
We appreciate your feedback! Our funny captions are there to add a bit of fun, but we hope you still find the tutorial useful and enjoyable. Happy bouquet building!
