What is wrong with this generation. They think talking to someone online is a relationship and friendship. Its so fake. Real friends are people that go through the good times and bad times by being there in person. They drop everything and come running. The bond is developed through contact. You cant possible know someone by just chatting online.

I don't think the guy planned on actually being with either of them, he probably had many online relationships, not just theses two. If he had plans to be with her he wouldn't have been sitting at home playing "games" the games he was playing was games with females who ever gave him attention, having theses two fight over him probably busted his ego. This is sad that you would throw your life away and the life of your sister for a guy you really didn't know, a guy that was playing both girls. Some people online can actually be evil, and not what you think they are.
5 years and this guy sees her once..the "relationship" definitely wasn't going any where! She was being played by him and her sister. Definitely a horrible tragic decision made by her...young and stupid and gullible.
I think it would probably be news to Joseph that she considered them to be 'engaged' or even 'dating'. He probably thought she was just a friend he gamed and chatted with like dozens of others he probably has. Gamer friends can turn into real legitimate decades-long friendships or even result in marriages... but that isn't what this sounds like. Especially if she thinks her "engagement" can be wrecked by her sister never seeing him in person but being nice to him online.

I can't imagine how irritating that is to listen to during a murder case police interview. This'll likely appear in court and once brought out of the closed space here and for likely the jury to watch it's probably going to evoke a different opinion than the one this woman is trying to produce.

This girl is utterly delusional! I think that Joseph was just friends with everyone and I'll bet he didn't consider that he was engaged! I think she read far too much into what was an online gaming friendship and that he had no intentions towards any of them. Clearly, her jealousy existed from the childhood relationship between the 2 sisters as they were so close in age. I'll also bet that her parents knew nothing of her intention to move out with Joseph etc. She wearing a headscarf so they probably had an arranged marriage lined up for her anyway. Sounds like all this alleged flirting was in her head as she couldn't give any clear examples and she had no proof. She's so calm and unemotional that I think the flirting thing was just an excuse for her to exersize her petty jealousy towards her sister that she'd be harbouring for a very long time. Sad.

I think the reason why she was so open and honest (other than the great work from the detective) is she really thought she was going to unalive herself. It sounds like she had this really planned out, I wonder what her little sister said to keep her from going thru. I've heard lots of criminals claim that they were going to unalive themselves and its pretty obvious when they are trying to get some weird credit or whatever for having empathy, but it really just sounds like this girl has nothing to lose so she is transparent and clear about everything. I guess it is just strange to hear a murderer talk so calmly about such a crazy thing she did to her own sister. When she recounted the words that her sister said, her sister's last words as she was being stabbed in the heart, she had no emotion at all, she had such little care about the life she was taking that her dying sister's last words to her have no impact whatsoever. It was heartbreaking to hear her recount her sister's last words, I could not imagine the thoughts she would have been having in her final moments as she looked up as her sister stabbed her chest, feeling pain and not knowing that her life was just moments from ending forever. Rest in peace Sayma Marzan.

She interviewed Sarah the day before, and then the phone video and autopsy report showed how much Sarah had lied to them, so she was really ticked off in the interview we’ve all seen.

Ok I had to find out what happened with her case. She plead guilty to 2nd degree mxrder and got 15 years confinement plus 20 years probation with 1 year credit for time served. She’s serving her time at Gadsden Correctional Facility.
