There's also a les paul he used like once. It had rail humbuckers in the bridge position. His second guitar he ever owned was an explorer knock off and that's alot more rare I'd say. He did have that blue SG too.
I like yours better than Kurt's. Not a fan of how Bartolini pickups look, especially with their logo plastered over the entire face of the pickups. I also like that they used a push pull pot in place of the mini toggle switch that his had, and a standard three way toggle instead of the blade switch. Good decisions! Sounded good on my end. Too freaking funny, man! That goddamn clown and his cult are such an embarrassment. I build guitars, and designed a model I call the Jazzstang, that was inspired by the Jag-Stang. The body shape is much closer to Kurt's original polaroid collage of his concept, and it uses a Mustang vibrato and bridge, and has a humbucker in the bridge, and a Jazzmaster neck pickup, custom electronics I designed specific for the model, with a master volume and tone mounted on left handed Mustang control plates (it follows the lines of the body better than a right handed plate would), three way toggle to select the pickups, and Mustang slide switches, one for each pickup, that offer three different tonal varitions (high pass, like on a Jaguar, normal (bypass), and dark, like the Jag/Jazzmaster rhythm circuit tone), and a coil split for the bridge pickup on a two position slide switch. Maple neck with bound ebony 7.25" radius fretboard and block inlays, seafoam green nitro finish, and a pickguard that goes up onto the upper horn like a Jazzmaster, which is where the slide switches live. So, yeah, not at all a copy of the Jag-Stang, but it wouldn't exist without the Jag-Stang as the base from which I built my ideas. I've made two of them for myself now, one was a prototype, and the second is the finalized version. Anyway, thought you might find it interesting, and if not, hopefully you just stopped reading before you got to this point! Haha. Sorry this comment got so damn long! Take care, man!
Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate! I also prefer the push-pull switch, even if I can't select the central pickup alone. I can only add it to one of the three combinations of the three way switch with or without the split bridge pickup. This gives 10 different tone combinations. For sound, I only use the H&K amp on the "lead" channel and a 2x12 V30 cabinet, no external distortion.
