Yes! It sounds like an army march. Ace was the original guitarist in Kiss. They all did solo albums. This song will never die out! Such a cool vibe sound. His voice is strong and powerful! My older brother brought this album home and I was 5 years old. He played this song for me and I fell in love! Great song! Great album.
Great song!! Ace Frehley is an original member of KISS (he no longer plays with them). I saw KISS twice in the 70’s once at the fabulous forum & the other at Anaheim stadium. Cheap Trick opened for them in L.A. and Bob Seger & Ted Nugent opened for them in Anaheim. I remember at the forum during Ace Frehley’s guitar solo an electrical lightening bolt coming out of his guitar. (Of course Gene Simmons spewing fake blood). AAAHHH - Good times! It’s a small world when Ace Frehley’s sister is now my hairdresser. 🤘🤘🤘
There is a great band called "Sweet" which has a cover of this song mashed up with that Jay-Z track called "Empire State of Mind" ua-cam.com/video/0xO684vZ0CE/v-deo.html Pretty interesting path of inspiration here because the title "Empire State of Mind" is undoubtedly a reference to the song "New York State of Mind" by the legendary Billy Joel.
You just made me laugh so hard. How about Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park. Also on the contrived side. Lots of musicians claim Kiss Alive I and II as some of their favorites.
@@anthonyv6962 When I was about thirteen/fourteen, Kiss was my favorite band for several months. Then I discovered much more talented bands and Kiss started to face into the background. Phantom of the Park was the final straw that brought me to the conclusion that Kiss was bullshit.
This was a huge hit for him. The whole album was. Most NY sports teams will play this at their games.
Even on tv I hear it during the giants and yankee games a few times a year
Ace Frehley (pronounced FRAY-lee) was the original lead guitarist and founding member of KISS. This song was from his solo album.
Free-Lee. Literally never heard it pronounced Fray-Lee.
@@mmomailman I always said Free-lee, but I'm wrong about many things.

ROCK LEGEND, ICON! 💙🎸
Some tunes are great the minute you start hearing them 😁.
My favorite of all the kiss solo songs.
One of the best covers ever. The original song by Hello is also very good.

Did Cheap Trick's parents have their KISS records out?
@@elysehfm8797 🤣😂🤣😂 YESSSS they did!! Rockin’’ & Rollin” ......
"Bo Diddly, Bo Diddly have you heard..."
Snow Blind is another good song from that album.
I think a lot of people kinda recognize this song because it was the intro song to the reality show NY Ink
It is the KISS Army. lol He was the lead guitarist for KISS. He has solo work with his own band now. Rock Soldiers is a great tune.
That's the Kiss Army marching with him 🤘
Listen to the original by the British group Hello, it really rocks.
They play in New York Yankees game when they win 🏆 there championship
Try I Was Made For Loving You by Kiss...this Ace Frehley played lead guitar for Kiss.
Pronounced “free-lee” 😂 Do “Rock n Roll All Night & Party Every Day” (KISS)

Where about in Jersey are you located? I’m about 15-20 from city too.
Four contrived Kiss solo albums and this is the one tune out of all of them that doesn't suck.
There were a few decent songs on Ace’s album

@@Reno_Slim that movie is next level bad. I mean plenty of musicians get involved with bad movies but that one takes the cake.
Ace's album is great. A few good song on gene and paul's but peter's was bad.
The only good thing to come out of 4 solo albums
You want fire…..King Diamond Gypsy
If you ever played the Grand theft Auto games this song is in one of those games and may sound familiar for that reason
That’s 🔥🔥🔥 I love GTA
if you want to do a KISS song the best song was "God of Thunder".
Yes!!! Great song!! Rob Zombie did this song when KISS was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. I gave it my 💋 approval.
for me this > empire state of mind sorry
This is the best KISS song and it's not even a KISS song. 😂
It’s not even his song lol it’s a cover
Kiss has a lot great songs....take your head out of your arse and listen without judging
