Funny story , this actually happend to me , got matched to what I assumed to be a cute cis girl and then she told be she was trans , she followed the message by , "you can unmatch me if you want" or something along those lines , I did not , cause well , I do not have problems with trans gals , sadly we both agree that the vibe wasn't right so we ended beeing nothing by freinds , kinda of a bummer cause she is really cute and absolutely my type , but having her as a friend is amazing , absolute party animal and a great buddy.

One of my friends is ftm and back when he was using apps like this he would get the same same from women and even gay men. There really is a r/nicegirl to every r/niceguy.
Some of it is funny though, he'd text me screenshots of people getting extremely confused about his identity and exponentially angrier every reply while he's nonchalantly telling them about his day because they'd rather rant and rave than leave. It's been shown in this channel a few times but trans boys completely discombobulate bigots, it's honestly kinda impressive.

Yeah I am a black woman and I date men of all races but I have a hard-fast rule of no men who are only into me because I am black. I date men of all races because I am interested in them as a person not because of their race. So I want a guy into me for me not because of my race. it is a red flag for me.

I'm commenting early in this video just because I'm witnessing to the exchange about the woman being spayed and it's the first time I have heard someone outside of my immediate family humorously and positively refer to their human self as being spayed
My ex-sister-in-law and I both had major gynecological surgeries in the same 2-year time frame or so and when she had her hysterectomy, she commemorated it but going out and getting a tattoo of the spade symbol. The surgery I had at that time removed a little over a third of my reproductive system, as I had had an ovary dye inside of me and cause a pretty significant life-threatening infection that required them to take off a whole chunk of my uterus along with the tube and the ovary, and I joked around about getting a half spade tattoo.
Since then, I've had to have the rest of my reproductive system removed so I've had a hysterectomy with a bilateral oophorectomy... And when I was preparing for my surgery, because I was in my early '30s and definitely not menopausal and had not had any of my own kids, I found it very difficult to find good support systems through established large support groups on places like Facebook.. This primarily because I would get so much pushback about how I needed to try to have a baby first if I was at all able to and that I could never know if I'd be at peace with my decision if I didn't even try and yada yada yada, along with arguments about how I was planning to not take any HRT but a whole chunk of people insisted that there was no way the medical community would allow me to be without HRT and run the health risks involved. Remember arguing for a while that I had already experienced some pretty significant health risks as a result of taking HRT or other hormonal interventions to try and combat the dysfunction that was going on in my body and at very minimum, I didn't want to add more hormones to my body before I let it settle down and work itself out. meaning, I didn't know if my symptoms of surgical menopause would be bad enough to warrant taking hormones at all and they make me so miserable that I didn't want to default into them and run the risk of just being miserable still despite having such a major event happen. I got so much shit for it, I decided to open my own support group focused on individuals with uteruses that were going through various stages of these surgical procedures with a positive spin and an encouraging pleased to be for those of us who made those decisions prior to having any biological children of our own. What did I name the group?
SPADE
And to this day, I will still get people who jump on my case a little bit if I comment on any number of social media platforms specifically in reply to other individuals who've had these procedures but feel lost or are preparing for the procedures but are terrified, because apparently to people outside of that situation, referring to yourself as spayed in the way that we would spay a pet is supposedly offensive... Like I was in the wrong for making the name of my support group a pun. Of course this doesn't affect whether or not I continue the name and the way that it is, and in my opinion, the emblem that I designed for a group is perfect for the resiliency of individuals going through these things. It's impossible to capture what the feeling is after you're done having these procedures with words that people who haven't had any experience with them will really understand but... I refuse to equate these procedures and life quality improvement interventions with voluntary misery or permanently removing the value of our lives, and humor heals a lot of anxieties for a lot of people.
So it was just nice to see somebody else that I presumably have no connection to whatsoever Who is perpetuating that kind of humor... Especially within a dating context. I'm 40 now, it's been about 5 years since I had my last surgery, and while I had the surgery while in what I thought would be the rest of my life kind of relationship, we're currently on a break and the discussion of this part of my life when it comes to the context of dating has been so burdensome because of how serious people respond to it or because of how weird dudes get about it that I can't even bring myself to entertain the idea of dating someone who wasn't around during those decisions still to this day. I made one attempt with someone that I really liked and wanted to potentially explore those kinds of experiences with, But it ended up being such a depressing and miserable conversation because of his response to my vulnerability that I'm really upfront with it myself. It's kind of interesting just how many guys who are in their 40s will still make dating decisions based on whether or not you can have a kid. I'm always late, even if I still had all of my parts, I'm 40... So why would you even bother with me if you still wanted to have a bunch of kids?
I guess my point is that not only do I appreciate seeing that humor in another scenario, but also that the more we show examples of people being just really upfront about some of the things they know will end up being a hurdle or a discussion point let's say 3 months down the road or something, the more familiar and comfortable those discussions will be overall, so I really appreciate when these goofy channels like yours also highlight those examples... Especially because I imagine your audience skews primarily young and as such, we'll have less just general life exposure to these issues in your audience but that openly discussing them within this context means there's potential for the future when they're more prevalent in your experiences that you'll respond positively and match the humor vibe of the person telling you about it rather than default to this apologetic sorrowful response that so many people have.

Tinder is a hell of a mixed bag. I used it nearly 5 years ago but I'm sure it's the same now. On the one hand I talked to a guy that only liked me because I was attracted to him (he wasn't attracted to me) and then falls back on the excuse once I call him out that he had cancer and I should feel bad for him, and on the other I found the most amazing guy in the world that I've been dating for nearly 5 years and is my current fiancé. And many other such stories lol
