my most hated thing about red pill creators/content is how some young men find the self improvement aspects genuinely helpful; id love that they’re helping young men except they’re teaching them to base their self worth on appearance or money, to change themselves drastically in order to find something that can’t be considered actual love or relationships, more like a trade deal. young men deserve role models and assurance etc the same way women do regardless of their muscle mass and bank balance, they deserve not to mould themselves around what a hypothetical future partner might want. they deserve to know they aren’t unmanly or weak for having and showing emotion, instead they’re sucked into this cesspit of hate (by other men) towards themselves that they direct towards others (often women) that makes everyone suffer

Yes this definitely is a discussion that society needs to start having more & be taken way more seriously. There is a serious crisis happening to young boys/men today (always has been tbh). I didn't really grasp this til I found out my bf of 4 years has a serious secret porn addiction & learned how he feels about himself & his life. His dad went away ti do life in prison when my bf was only 10. His mother never showed genuine love or care to him. He's always had low self esteem & body image. He's basically had to figure out how to be a man on his own. He straight up told me he doesn't know how to love me or even himself.
It's so incredibly sad to see the person I love so much be so screwed up. We gotta do more for these boys!

I’ll never forget Andrew Tate’s reasoning for why you should take dating advice from other men and not listen to women talk about what they look for. He said “when you want hunting advice, listen to the hunter, not the prey.” Totally not creepy.
Thats the kind of advice that sounds smart and profound until you take 5 seconds to think about it. As if the dynamic of hunting to kill is equivalent to trying to emotionally build a bond with another human. It's just the worst analogy ever.

I didn't even know this stuff was so popular. I was recently playing tennis with my buddy and a couple people he knew. One of the girls randomly asked me, "Can you believe the Red Pill exists and that they want to murder women?" I'm like what? I was taken back that she was bringing up Internet shit (and also taken back that she thinks Red Pill was about that). I just told her that a lot of men and women are lonely and hurting right now, and they can find echo chambers online with endless amounts of cherry picked information. Also that it's much harder to socialize now and everyone's glued to their phones. What we're missing are ways to be sociable with the opposite sex again that doesn't involve going to a club. She's like, "Man you're right." It's just funny because people assume I'm not even close to an incel, yet I'm basically one of those lost men who only dated once in highshcool and am now 29 years old and definitely feel like one hahah. Even if you're good looking and sociable, there are many reasons why you can still end up alone. It's hard for both men and women rn.
Anyways if you need me I'll be eating my bugs out of the garbage. 10/10 video btw

The two main groups to popularize the meme saw no relation to estrogen in the movie whatsoever and neither do I. Regardless of what the "author" said decades later. I think you could even argue for a literal death of the author seeing as they changed genders and names they are a different person.

I honestly think the matrix trans allegory was retroactively added later by the creators for personal reasons. You really have to reach to come to that conclusion IMO. When really the Matrix is more simply about breaking away from oppressive systems that threaten humanity’s freedom and existence. I think red pillers have bastardized the allegory just as much. Sometimes a cool action movie is really just that.
