As someone who is both neurodivergent and wrote a fucking 50 page thesis paper on the entire history of metal in in college, I can confirm that this video is 110% accurate. No notes.
And yes, grindcore is a goddamn psyop. And I actually used to be a big “fan” in high school. I used to blame the drummer that introduced me to it because of the blast beat drumming. There were a couple of bands that actually said that their vocalizations were to be “interpreted” as the lyrics and that they weren’t actually saying the words, but putting the emotions behind those words instead.
Sounds like some bullshit to me.
Maybe try the newest Wormrot album? It certainly has some basic tropes of the genre, but it’s much more sophisticated and mature than your stereotypical grindcore band.

Most Djent sucks because it's a clear cheapened knockoff of stuff Meshuggah has already done 20+ years ago. The only modern "Djent" bands (excluding Meshuggah) worth a damn are Vildhjarta and Animals As Leaders. Other bands doing somewhat similar but unique extreme metal with down tuning like Car Bomb get a pass
