oh my, I just watched the big Lebowski today for the first time and you make this vid, thank you! I'll definitely look for more movies with this amzing actor in it, cause I agree, he's a boss ;)
Wait, I thought #Ad had to be in the title and mentioned if it's a sponsored video? Great video though, Jack, I really enjoy watching you talk about movies (Especially because it introduces me to new things to watch)
holy shit i didnt even realise this was an ad til i read the description, i like the way you've done that. pls upload more videos on must-see films, im a new film student and honestly i dont know what the hell i'm doing lmao
I really love both Tron films. Especially legacy, it was one of the first Sci-Fi films I watched as I kid, I completely loved the concept of it. Am I the only one who likes this film?
UA-cam drinking game - take a drink every time Jack says "Jeff Bridges". - take a shot every time Jack says "Jeff Bridges" with his eyebrows raised. - prepare to have your stomach pumped before the video is halfway through.
Hey Jack, What were your thoughts on Jeff's performance in Tron: Legacy? Because personally I really enjoyed the movie, but it always gets a lot of hate.
I actually liked Tron Legacy, and it has an almost 7 star rating on imdb so it can't be that horrible. Mostly I think it's just because I find the story kinda entertaining and I love the visual/aesthetic aspects of it (such as special effects, costumes, makeup, etc.) And the choice of letting Daft Punk create the music for that movie was BRILLIANT and absolutely fitting for a movie that is about a digital world. But that's just my opinion, I guess ^^'
Karine Almås I like the effects, it was definitely a very pretty movie, but I just felt like the story was kind of lacking. It's been too long since I've seen it so I can't give specific examples but that's just how I remember feeling about it when I saw it.
Jeff Bridges is my childhood Hollywood crush. I always loved him. Also he has the sexiest voice in Hollywood. I've heard he's the nicest guy. I just love him. Glad you're on board. 😍😍😍😍
True Grit was my first Jeff Bridges film I remember seeing it in the movies and being blown away by his performance despite the mumblings. Though I did love him in Men who stare at Goats, when I saw great film!
Jack, you should watch Jeff Bridges in Stick It. It's not "the most AMAZING PERFORMANCE I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!" but its a quality comedy and gymnastics movie, and he's pretty great in it
Yo Jack Howard I just searched your name to make sure your channel still existed as I haven't seen a subscribed video in months! NO PRESSURE BUT WHERE'S A NEW VIDEO?! Merry Christmas x
A very good, but VERY creepy Jeff Bridges movie is "Jagged Edge"! Glenn Close does an excellent job as well. I was freaked out for days after seeing it!! "The Mirror Has Two Faces" is a Jeff Bridges Rom/Com that was funny, a bit silly but yet, touching. Not his best movie, however, if you want steamy... "Against All Odds" with 'bloody Jeff Bridges' and Rachel Ward... ppssssssst... VERY steamy! Rachel Ward isn't the finest actress but she can certainly steam things up with Jeff. A cute film I also enjoyed is "Kiss Me Goodbye" with Jeff 'Bloody' Bridges, Sally Field and James Caan. Jeff does a fine job, but in my opinion, James Caan really steals the movie and I think Sally was nominated for some award. Okay, I think that's enough of my bloody Jeff Bridges input and probably not the movies you were expecting.
Not about Jeff Bridges but was wondering if you've seen Hilary Swank in Boys Don't Cry? Such a moving film and an amazing performance from Hilary. I highly recommend it!
Jack you should do a Stranger Thins review... if you haven't watched it, watch it! I'd love to hear it from your filmic perspective because it's inspired by/based off various 80's thriller, Stephen King-type films. Thanks!
Wow, I'm old. I saw Starman (1984) pretty much when it came out. I have no idea if it aged gracefully, but I remember it was really interesting (and even funny) for a movie about an alien. In its 80's style, it explores the culture shock of discovering life and how we live it (well Americans at least). I also saw K-PAX (2001), which is a weird movie... I liked it, though. Hey, it's about aliens, too! (If I recall, Kevin Spacey plays the guy who thinks he's an alien). I just saw The Big Lebowski this summer, because of all the hype I've seen for so long all around. I must say, it's a movie that bears being rewatched.
I'm a huge Coen brothers fan too, but my boyfriend FINALLY got me to watch Big Lebowski a couple weeks ago and. omg. literally a top favorite movie now
TRON! How could you know talk about TRON and TRON Legacy? Jeff Bridges isn't much my style but I loved him to death in Tron Legacy, especially after seeing TRON. He had to get back to his original character in the 80s and now play him as an old man, an absent father rekindling a relationship with his grown son, a once savior now turned recluse after his own creation betrayed him and all he built , a mentor figure to a girl who sees him as a holy man, AND all while still staying true to his slacker hacker arcade-bro who's been trapped in that computer since the late 80s. He ALSO had to play the corrupted villain version of himself as well! It was NUTS because I still forget he played Clu(2) because he and Flynn seem totally different. LOVED him in TRON and especially Tron Legacy.
Oh did you watch _Starman_ on your Bridges binge? I wasn't crazy about Jeff Bridges in _R.I.P.D._ but I am so very excited to see him and all the other new cast members of _The Kingsman_ sequel. Unrelated to the topic at hand but did you see _The Nice Guys_?
My favorite movie of Jeff Bridges is Starman (John Carpenter directed it). I love it every time I watch it. I adored Seabiscuit and have watched it many times. I saw The Giver last year, and his performance was wonderful. You should definitely watch these movies if you haven't seen them! :) I watched a not-so-great movie this weekend called Seventh Son, and the only reason I stuck it out to the end (and the whole movie is only about 45 minutes long) was because I enjoyed Bridges' performance... he really did carry me through that movie (and I don't recommend watching it).
I always used to think Jeff Bridges and Kurt Russell were the same person and I was so confused when I couldn't find Jeff Bridges on the IMDB page for The Hateful Eight
I've heard very few positive responses to this, but my favorite Jeff Bridges movie is The Men Who Stare At Goats in which he stars alongside George Clooney & Ewan McGregor. A+++
Have you seen any of Jeff Bridges photography? It's pretty great. He shoots on a Wide-Lux camera, which is pretty interesting, and he's got some BTS shots from several of his films.
There'a a gymnastics movie called Stick It and Jeff Bridges is in it for some reason??? Who knows how or why he got involved but it's (in my opinion) one of the funniest movies of all time but only gymnasts know anything about it??????
honestly my jeff bridges obsession began when he was in stick it because that movie gave my 13 year old self LIFE and now hes just my special silver fox who nobody appreciates
Actually, i've seen Comancheria / Hell or High Water in Deauville American Film Festival last week and I ... was bored. Like, i agree with everything you said : Jeff Bridges elevating the movie + Coen brothers inspo. But what's new, really ? What is there to see ? Yep, the relationship between the Sherif and Alberto is touching in a way. Yep, the robber brothers are well written. But besides that, i found it a bit empty. It's a kind of movie where you have to hang on some elements to get trough the movie. But that's just my opinion and people, you should go see it to get your own. That's good cinema nonetheless, just not my type.
In talking about how Jeff "bloody" Bridges never appears to be acting. You should watch him in Tucker: The Man and His Dream. This is the movie that made me love him as well.
Crazy Heart is definitley the one that opened my eyes to Jeff Bloody Bridges. I also like him in the Tron movie, the newest one. He was just rocking that character and those clothes. Jeff Bloody Bridges is also pretty bloody good in True Grit.
Watch 'The Last Picture Show'!! That was Bridges' first Oscar nomination and he's fantastic, as is the film. Cloris Leachman gives one of the best performances of all freaking time in it. So great.
Ok so hear me out on this....I like Jeff Bridges in the movie RIPD. It is one of those movies that drags in big names but doesn't have much else. It's the kind of movie that actors look back on and think "why did I do that". That being said, for it being one of those movies it actually isn't that bad...that just shows you how good Jeff Bridges is.
The Little Prince. Netflix. Watch it. :) I absolutely adore Jeff Bridges and his role in The Little Prince had me in tears at every on screen appearance. He's not just a phenomenal actor, he has such an iconic and emotional voice. JEFF BRIDGES! :D
I've always loved Jeff Bridges. I remember seeing The Big Lebowski as a kid and not understanding a lot (typical Coens!) but I distinctly remember thinking who IS this magical person! I also loved him in True Grit.
I actually really liked Jeff Bridges in The Men Who Stare at Goats. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing his character but him and the film is srsly underrated (in my opinion)
Hi Jack, I am passionate about pursuing a career in film and was wondering if you have received further education in film and if so where? What advice would you give to me with getting my foot in the door? (i am doing my A levels at the moment so have limited experience). Do you think a potential degree in film studies/ production or is an apprenticeship the best way to go? I would be so grateful for your advice. Thank you!
I had this kind of binge recently with Michael J. Fox. More people really need to watch 'The Michael J. Fox Show' that was on in the US a few years ago. He is honestly a much more talented comedic actor than I ever realised. Also he's just a great human tbh
Love Jeff Bridges
who doesn't, mate
He probably loves you.
Bridges love Jeff
and we love you Chris :D
Its Chris! Jeff Bridges is great
The Fabulous Baker Boys was always my favorite growing up. It was my first Jeff Bridges film.
oh my, I just watched the big Lebowski today for the first time and you make this vid, thank you! I'll definitely look for more movies with this amzing actor in it, cause I agree, he's a boss ;)

I really love both Tron films. Especially legacy, it was one of the first Sci-Fi films I watched as I kid, I completely loved the concept of it. Am I the only one who likes this film?
Surprisingly, you only mentioned - what was his name? That actor - 23 1/2 times in this video. I expected the count to be a little higher tbh.
;)
Jeff Bridges I love you, Jeff Bridges I doo. When we're apart my heart beats only for youu.
Jeff Bridges impression 👍 Jeff could literally take on any character and absolutely SMASH it
the lighting in your videos is so on point
Jack, are you still alive?
UA-cam drinking game
- take a drink every time Jack says "Jeff Bridges".
- take a shot every time Jack says "Jeff Bridges" with his eyebrows raised.
- prepare to have your stomach pumped before the video is halfway through.
YAY! JACK UPLOADED ON MY BIRTHDAY YAYYYY!!!
happy birthday!!

Happy birthday!
Hey Jack, What were your thoughts on Jeff's performance in Tron: Legacy? Because personally I really enjoyed the movie, but it always gets a lot of hate.
All I can think about when I think of Jeff Bridges is Tron Legacy, which was not a good movie.
I actually liked Tron Legacy, and it has an almost 7 star rating on imdb so it can't be that horrible. That's fair, I can see why you think that. I also wouldn't say the story is of the best sort, but I like the concept of it.
Where r uuuuuuuu
who doesn't love Jeff Bridges
I LOVE YOUR NEW HAIR :3 ITS LOVELY, JUST LIKE U
Jeff Bridges is my childhood Hollywood crush. I always loved him. Also he has the sexiest voice in Hollywood. I've heard he's the nicest guy. I just love him. Glad you're on board. 😍😍😍😍
Ps obviously he's an amazing talent as well. Duh.
thoughts on tron?
TRON, JACK
*cough* Tron
Does Jack respond? Probably not
Nah bruv. Unless you whisper Jeff Bridges 13 times whilst spinning on the spot for 39 seconds. Works every time
He replied to my comment and I shat myself in Starbucks
Whitest thing I have ever heard ^^
If you haven't seen The Fisher King, you should do that. Bridges and your mate Robin Williams at their best.
dear jack, PLEASE WATCH TRAIN TO BUSAN!!!!! you wont regret it!
True Grit was my first Jeff Bridges film I remember seeing it in the movies and being blown away by his performance despite the mumblings. Though I did love him in Men who stare at Goats, when I saw great film!
Obscure Jeff Bridges Honorable Mention: The Last Picture Show
Waitwaitwait... Iron man was 8 years ago?!?!!?? I must have been... *counts on fingers* 7 then! Wth????
K-Pax. Jeff Bridges. Kevin Spacey. You should really watch K-Pax.
Tucker directed by Francis Ford Coppola is probably my favorite Jeff Bridges film
Jack, you should watch Jeff Bridges in Stick It. It's not "the most AMAZING PERFORMANCE I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!" but its a quality comedy and gymnastics movie, and he's pretty great in it
im similarly obsessed with stranger things atm as you are with jeff bridges I FEEL LESS WEIRD
Fabulous Baker Boys with his brother Beau and Michelle Pfeiffer. Romcom but everyone is so good.

Yo Jack Howard I just searched your name to make sure your channel still existed as I haven't seen a subscribed video in months! NO PRESSURE BUT WHERE'S A NEW VIDEO?!
Merry Christmas x
Kinda disappointed you left out his stunning portrayal of Roy in RIPD. Come on Jack... thought you a movie fan. ;)
Look up an old movie from the 70's called Thunderbolt and light foot..., it was such a good one. A very young Jeff Bridges.....gotta see
finally some much needed jeff bridges appreciation
A very good, but VERY creepy Jeff Bridges movie is "Jagged Edge"! Glenn Close does an excellent job as well. I was freaked out for days after seeing it!! I just saw The Big Lebowski this summer, because of all the hype I've seen for so long all around. I must say, it's a movie that bears being rewatched.
I kept a record and he said 'Jeff (including some variation of bloody) Bridges' twenty two times, and just 'Jeff' three times. In six minutes.
watch R.I.P.D.... Youll feel your love for jeff bridges decrease a bit.
I'm a huge Coen brothers fan too, but my boyfriend FINALLY got me to watch Big Lebowski a couple weeks ago and. omg. literally a top favorite movie now
Have you seen The Giver? It was kind of a "meh" adaption of the book, but I was actually pretty impressed with Jeff Bridges' performance as the Giver.
Stick It was one of my fave movies when I was younger and I LOVED Jeff Bridges in it! He totally made it!
TRON! How could you know talk about TRON and TRON Legacy? Jeff Bridges isn't much my style but I loved him to death in Tron Legacy, especially after seeing TRON. I feel like your wide explanation about obsession just make it more suspicious. just saying.
Is jack ever gonna post again? It's been FIVE months brah!!!!

Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man.
My First thought after the Movie description of 1:40 : 17 Again xD
Jeff Bridges has been great for years and years. Watch Starman (1984) and The Last Picture Show (1971), if you can find them anywhere.
You need to see "The Fisher King" with Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams
There'a a gymnastics movie called Stick It and Jeff Bridges is in it for some reason??? Who knows how or why he got involved but it's (in my opinion) one of the funniest movies of all time but only gymnasts know anything about it??????

My favourite movie with Jeff is The Vanishing :) You should watch it, I think it's really good
In talking about how Jeff "bloody" Bridges never appears to be acting. You should watch him in Tucker: The Man and His Dream. This is the movie that made me love him as well.

I absolutely adore Jeff Bridges and his role in The Little Prince had me in tears at every on screen appearance. He's not just a phenomenal actor, he has such an iconic and emotional voice. JEFF BRIDGES! :D
I know most people probably don't like the film all that much, but I honestly love his humor in R.I.P.D.
I've always loved Jeff Bridges. I remember seeing The Big Lebowski as a kid and not understanding a lot (typical Coens!) but I distinctly remember thinking who IS this magical person! I also loved him in True Grit.
Jack are you playing a jihadi terrorist fighting in Kenya in the BBC drama Our Girl?
I actually really liked Jeff Bridges in The Men Who Stare at Goats. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing his character but him and the film is srsly underrated (in my opinion)
You a movie reviewer now? So you're a content creator/reviewer/film maker/feminist.
his rooster cogburn is fantastic
weary and cynical and hilarious
Hi Jack, I am passionate about pursuing a career in film and was wondering if you have received further education in film and if so where? Do you think a potential degree in film studies/ production or is an apprenticeship the best way to go? I would be so grateful for your advice. Thank you!
I have so much catching up to do! Have you seen the trailer for 'Girl Asleep' (directed by Rosemary Myers)? I feel as though you may enjoy it.
I loved him most in the Fisher King. A very cynical character with a lot of baggage who is wracked by guilt. Perfect for Bridges!
I had this kind of binge recently with Michael J. Fox. More people really need to watch 'The Michael J. Fox Show' that was on in the US a few years ago. He is honestly a much more talented comedic actor than I ever realised. Also he's just a great human tbh
what if I told you that everything I remember from this video is "Jeff bloody Bridges"?
I'm 100% on board the Jeff Bridges train. Hell or High Water was so freaking good.
you forgot about his incredible performance in the outstanding gymnastic film "stick it" but it's a common mistake.
