It is so delightful to hear Josh sing in his lower register -- the male voice that makes any red-blooded woman melt. Great duets on this album. Would still love a repeat of a duet on In The Arms of the Angels.
My daughter, Jamie, and I have seen Josh sing in Raleigh twice... his voice is always a healing presence... a gifted talent and a blessing to the world... This song makes me think of all the mom and dads I know who've had to walk away from their child -- on the street, in a jail cell, in a psychiatric facility. The words fit those scenarios.. Not sure what the original intent was. "Light up, light up, as if you have a choice." Gives me strength to reach beyond myself. Thank you from Pat and me and all the families like us.

My husband is fiercely battling ALS in its final stage. This cover of Run summed up so much of what I am feeling. The chorus touched my heart in such a personal way. Light up, light up, as if you have a choice. This simple line from the song reminds me that I have the power to choose life beyond my sadness, beyond my grief even in the face of this debilitating disease. Groban's and McLachlan's beautiful voices are a gift.

Sarah Mclachlan She is the biggest fan of my son. Since he was 12 years old. He always says to me she is a very special artist. My son's name , Bryant Botelho.
Each time a listen I cry harder (and I am so NOT a crier). The lyrics bring back the memory of the morning in August 2016 when I held my precious Mom as she passed following a long valiant battle with Alzheimer's. I haven't cried like this since that day, I miss her so much, even though I know she has been my guardian angel since then. Josh has a voice that impacts me like very few can. One night several years ago, I saw him perform Bridge Over Troubled Water live, at a time when that song was exactly what my soul needed, and I cried that night too.
