By the way, Riot Games will NOT copyright strike channels that react to their stuff, so for this series, you won't need to cut out anything. They don't copyright strike their music either, so that's safe, too!
Except for "Enemy," evidently. Whatever agreement Riot has with Imagine Dragons doesn't seem to cover that one song.
Sorry, I'm editing BTR for another set of reactors atm and there are more copyright issues atm now - Riot has recently changed their stance on this. I made a comment on this further down but I believe it got buried.
Just a reminder that most of Riot media is still creator friendly, but alot of music, including the tracks from the Arcane Sountrack, almost all of K/DA and a good chunk of the collabs done with musical artists are getting claimed.
Just a headsup for when anyones goes to plan filming reactions to League content and whether theyll want to batch some of these vids for editing. Im sure this reactor probably is familiar with the BTR content by now, but for all the League material if he decides to go down that route, theres a goldmine of reaction content, but be careful of some musical vids. @@kevinmalone7167 It'd mostly likely be up to the individual copyright owners/record labels and nothing that Riot or the artist themselves can change, I think.
Maybe how Riot changed 'stances' is just how far they get with collaborations with artists already under a label. There was news a couple weeks back that they were in talks/having issues with a major music label (potentially for the upcoming Arcane S2 soundtrack). It's really helping the rumor spread that whoever this artist is, it's a really big one. Can't wait for s2 ofc, but thinking of that just gets me giddy. Riot really pulls out all the stops when it comes to production - of all media coming out this year, Arcane S2 is probably the one I'm looking forward to most.
So glad you're looking at the BTS material--when I learned how many years the series was in development, and how many hard turns it took along the way, I felt much less insecure about my writing capabilities :D
And yes subtitles are a must mostly for the first couple episodes where there's a lot of French, but they're helpful in every episode because a lot of people talk and they talk very fast.
Nowadays, when so many studios are risk-averse to the point where they produce almost nothing new, it's refreshing seeing a brand new studio rise out of nothing to just to accommodate one out-of-the-box idea.
I'm fairly certain they said they wouldn't copyright reactions to this even without cutting it up, but I understand if you don't want to take the risk.
I highly recommend you turn on captions for the next episodes, there's going to be a lot of french spoken scenes, also the BtR documentaries are not copyrighted.
Riot games has a policy of not copywrite striking any of their videos or their music. both the sound and video here are safe. the only exception is whenever another artist is featured on riot games content and Riot is not the sole owner of the copywrite. within the Bridging the Rift series, absolutely nothing will put you danger except for potentially a short section where the Imagine Dragons "Enemy" song gets played in I believe episode 4 or whichever one covers the music and sound of Arcane. So don't worry about the hassle of chopping these videos up. I've seen reactors to these videos just run them all the way through with no hassle.
Glad that you're reacting to this, few shows have good bts mini series as good as the show itself lol.
Btw you don't have to mute or cut out these ones, Riot is very generous with reactors with the content they own and produce, and since it's on their UA-cam channel you don't have to worry as much as you had with arcane itself.
So glad that you are doing this series. Episodes keep getting better each time, just like with the "Arcane" series.

There isn't a ton of French in Bridging the rift, but there is a decent amount. It's expected that you have the subtitles on.
Fun fact, the song from the "Get Jinxed" video is what Jinx was listening to when she was working in her lab after stealing the crystal. When Silco was yelling trying to get her attention.
You're totally right. The less you know about LOL, the better. I played a tiny bit of LOL many, many years ago. Like, between 15 and 20 years or so. I definitely knew of Jinx. I recognized Vi well enough to know she was a champion. Jayce and Caitlyn I only remembered in retrospect (Jayce's hammer and, to a lesser degree, Cait's sniper rifle and dress are what did the trick). But I knew nobody else. I kinda wish I hadn't known about Jinx, since Milo inadvertently tipped me off. Still a phenomenal show.

I will mirror what other have said with a caveat: The copyright is very lax on a majority of Riot-owned media (definitely check out the rest of their cinematics, character trailers, music videos, and Esports Opening Ceremonies), but they have changed their copyrights recently. Idk how far into Bridging the Rift you've already edited, but almost everything coming from the Arcane Sountrack has been copyrighted and there are a few parts of this documentary that are claimed from Netflix's Geeked Week. You'll receive the claim when you go to upload I'm sure, but just a headsup. Good luck with the edits and the rest of your League dive!
You've probably already watched it, but if not - the second episode is all about the writer's room and season story rewrites. Looking forward to that one with you.
Even the BTS has cliffhangers! haha. In my head canon the animation test is Vi and Jayce training for their attack on the shimmer factory.
Speaking of suspense and surprise, don't look into what the characters are like in the game or who are show originals.
I am pretty sure they released season 1 like this: episodes 1-3, then a week later 4-6, then a week later 7-9
All the details made Arcane cost more than 100m$ to produce 🤣
they are so good with cliffhangers that even the behind the scenes have them.
I do think you would LOVE some of League's old Lore videos.They have TONS of lore video and some comics and books that has some of the best underrated story writing ever.
Some I would recommend you react to are Annie, Yasuo or Viego.
There's also this youtuber name Necrit who did a lot of interesting Lore videos. I would reccomend you watch some of his mmo lore videos cause it was very detailed and informative.
(Viego in particular had a very great novel available and it actually shows you why League can do story like Arcane that well)
