Thank you for the honest review, well done. We finally got our Prime in March, 21 months after it was ordered ! The dealer told us the wait if we ordered one today would be closer to three years, hard to believe. This is our third Prius but first PHEV and I have to say we don't expect to be spending much time at any fuel pumps. After putting over 1,700Km (1,062.5 M), on it there's still almost half of the "Dealer" free fill-up in the tank.
That's remarkable. Gas here these days costs almost $7.00 CAD for a US gallon. We're seeing about an 80Km (50 M) range on a single charge. If we were to use the hybrid system we'd likely burn around a gallon of gas for that distance. Charging the battery from "empty" only costs us about $1.75. Needless to say the car gets plugged in every evening.
But, it has to be noted; to achieve those 50 miles requires careful driving and, using the heater or heated seats/wheel will reduce the range. We figure this car will be with us for ten years and it's going to save us (at the current price for gas), close to $1,600 a year.

Nice review, mate! I'm a fan of these cars too. I just purchased a 2024 Prius Prime and it has been amazing! I also have a 2022 AWD XLE Prius, which has been solid in the icy and snowy New England winters.

I really like what they did with the new Prius, but I am still deciding whether to purchase it, considering how well the 2025 Camry compares and even exceeds with space and power. What are your recommendations? Prius XLE or Camry XLE? I want the style, function, comfort, and fuel efficiency.

What percent are the windows tinted? I like that amount and I am getting the same car. Thanks.
Why did they give buttons for the heated seats (something you'll rarely use) instead of buttons for air or radio (something you use while driving). I wish every car company offered a "buttons" package." I hate touchscreens, i be pressing the wrong thing every time or staring at the screen trying to find something.

Just got the XLE with 12 inch screen for my first car. I’m super excited and I love it so far. Only gripes I have is the backup camera not having other features but other wise it’s basically a perfect car for me.
How are the speakers? Is it good enough where it's not necessary to upgrade to the Limited just for the JBL speakers?
Man the Silver looks sleek! GL trying to get one though. The markup from my location is quite hefty, sitting at $37500 before taxes, etc. I also got put on a wait-list for mine. Still haven't gotten my 2nd key fob due to microchip shortages/competition with foreign companies. It's also not quite 50+ mpg for the XLE AWD. I get roughly about 43 mpg with city/hwy combined. Overall nice car though. I love it.

I can see it, but personally I’m a fan of the lettering.
I removed my Prius off the back. Got people trying to figure it out. Lol. And it looks CLEAN.

@@generalatwork Right now there is a dealer "Stop Sale" due to a recall issue, so you won't see any for sale again until probably July 2024 at the earliest, when they can get the parts to fix the rear door handles. I ordered an XLE and it is currently sitting on the dealer's lot. 🥲
