I ripped up all my periwinkle today. I’m sure I’ll see it again next year. The girl at the nursery recommended it and didn’t tell me it was invasive! Before I planted them I knew, but I underestimate just how annoying their rooting is. There are much prettier ground cover options / garden edge plants out there. Might try stonecrop sedum.
So glad to hear you removed your periwinkle 👏 It is very invasive and it's root system is deep. It took me awhile to remove it from my friend's garden but finally its gone and replaced with nice plants. I am sure you will get rid of it as well! Love the stonecrop sedum choice 🤩
