In today's video, our very own Jonny Bubbles is going to show us how to clean a pair of 997s by New Balance in collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore; a New York fashion and lifestyle brand. Jonny uses the new Essential Shoe Cleaning Kit along with our Collapsible bowl, pair of Adjustable Shoe Trees, and last but not least our Absorbable Cleaning Mat. The resell price on these Yellow Canary NBs have skyrocketed since their release last April and are sitting anywhere between $600 - $1000. That is absolutely mind blowing for a pair of New Balances. Being that this release is made up of almost entirely of suede, Bubbles recommends using the Soft Bristle Brush to clean the uppers while trying to avoid over saturating the shoes to prevent any bleeding or discoloration. The shoes get a nice scrubbing of the uppers, midsoles, and soles to bring them back to life. They came out looking great! Well done Bubbles! So a couple weeks ago I watched your pickup video of supplies for restorations and I ordered most of the supplies on your list (thanks for that video btw) but one item I wasn’t able to get was the Dad’s Easy Paint Remover. It appears that its been discontinued. What do you use in place of that or do your still have some in supply?

We actually do not recommend cleaning that shoe. We have experienced many issues with them in the past.
