- How To Clean Your Suede Sneakers | The Best Method Possible
In today's episode of Shoe Care Academy cleaning tutorials, Mr. Reshoenv8r aka Pops shows you the best way to clean your suede sneakers. Suede can be very tricky to clean, especially those that are dyed bright colors. So Mr.Reshoevn8r starts off cleaning the puma with our Dry suede kit. This is so the shoe does not get wet and potentially ruin the material. He does, however, clean the midsole and outsole using our essential kit, ensuring he does not wet the suede. Moving onto the green vans, he starts off dusting the shoe with the soft brush and then takes a damped towel and gently cleans the shoe. Lastly, he moves onto the red Adidas and continues the same steps as the green Vans. All of the products that Jonny used in today's cleaning video can be found on our website!

I am a big fan of suede for the simple fact it gets minimal creases compared to its leather counterpart. Physically satisfying when you go from crunchy suede to soft butter suede that you can draw in with your fingertips ✅💯
Same, suede and nubuck are my go to’s. I stopped buying leather a long time ago.
@@OCCollects Suede is a type of leather, but it’s lowest quality. If you want ultra durable leather, get full grain. If you like the hairy suede look, get rough out leather.
Suede is great for casual use and special uses (e.g. skateboarding), but that’s about it.
Although full grain leather offers more protection and durability than suede leather
but the leather are more durable than suede,thats the reason that make me buy the converse ultra mid instead of a pair of red gazelles

The Green Vans...looked phenomenal. Great job. I love suede. Have several pair of athletic and dress shoes, and about 4 different suede jackets. Great tips for cleaning my already dirty suede products. Thanks for the tutorial.
I use a shampoo/toothpaste/baking soda combo on white soles. Mix the three and put it on a toothbrush (scrub) and bam 💥. Makes them Pearl white in half a second. Don’t believe me try it, been using that concoction for years. Never fails
Thats literally some jail bird shit,, lmao in juvenile hall thats what I used but the toothpaste had to white put put white toothpaste colgate,soap, then hot water on top mixx it and u got a solution.its a white creammy substance ..after you done your shoes even smell minty haha

Simple and this works for Suede and any fabric shoes, did it for years my 4 year old shoes look brand new! Let soak shoes in warm water with dishwashing soap for a few minutes then scrub with a soft brush or toothbrush, rinse and let dry. For the stubborn dirt on the white rubber sole I use toothpaste or Vim scrubbing with a toothbrush

I'm going to go with the green Vans. Only because they are my favorite brand and I'm hoping they'll clean up nicely. I do wish that he had a black pair of suede shoes up there because my black suede Vans are fading. I don't know if it's the cleaner I use or the fact that they got wet from ocean water, last time I went to the beach. But back to the video to find out which shoe cleaned up better ... Go green!

Where did you bought the cleaning kit?
ALWAYS clean dirty sole area's FIRST! This way you won't TRANSFER DIRT in any way to CLEANED suede. Plus you can contend w/ HOW to clean suede IF you make water spots.
Just for anyone watching this using any kind of shoe cleaning kits or special soaps on vulcanized mid soles (skate shoes) will leave a weird grey smeared effect, as you saw with the buzenitz adidas in the video. It’s best to just use water and elbow grease

Last time I cleaned my swade, I put some detergent and soaked them for some time and brushed. They turned out pretty good. Drying them in sunlight faded them though 😂

I did the same. But instead of drying it under sunlight, I let it dry under the shade. Turned out pretty well than I expected it to. Couldn't figure out if the color actually faded or not. It was a Puma Suede.

I soak my laces and then apply Vanish if they're white and hand wash them. Gets em glowing! Also spray mould bleach bathroom spray on the white rubber, gets it super glowing too.

Good job on showing how to clean the outer of the shoes. Can you show how you clean the inside of the shoes to prevent the funk?
I'm sold, ordering a kit now.
Also, I bmx with my vans so I scrub the entire shoe with the solution and water cause they always have nasty stains. Once dried, I brush the suede for a few mins and they return like new.
Hun: Avoid getting suede wet
Me: Washed my adidas suede trainers in the washing machine. Now the suede is hard and tough 😂
Mix some 70° alcohol with liquid mink oil (or any other non-sticky oil if you don't have it). Put the mixture in a spray bottle and spray it on your suede. Leave to dry. Brand new suede ;)

Brush with a wire brush, or scrape with a cuticle pusher.

Excellent tutorial, today I received a pair of burgundy Adidas Gazelles in top condition save the suede is a bit manky on the toes, I have individual brushes for different colour boots and I brushed the Gazelle's with my oxblood taking off brush and they came up like new with a more uniform colour to them too. However I have two pairs of Adidas Vespa hi top's one grey suede one blue suede and both have the same shiny aspect on the toe section so going to try your methods to get them back as the grey one has spotting too. :)
