So, yesterday did I change the transfer pipe and everything around like waterpump etc...watched yer video quite often. But it is a work I don't want to do every day *g
Thanks for the awesome video, I’m currently working on my bmw 745i. I bought the stent you showed in the BimmerFix video, removed the water pump and now looking at the front side of the pipe. It seems to be there is another pipe inside the one in the car which makes it impossible to install the stent in. I’m wondering if that another style of the stent or the same as the one you are doing in this video. any idea of what I’m facing don’t want to remove the top 😢
@@husseinlakeside I hope I understand your question... If you remove the water pump, you will be able to see the inside of the transfer pipe. But you should be able to slide the stent in there (unless a stent was already inserted previously and is currently there now). The only way to replace the transfer pipe is to remove the valley pan cover (top). You cannot slide the transfer pipe in from the front. Yes, it's awful. Just to clear the Bimmerfix stent and the transfer pipe replacement are 2 completely different fixes.

I agree. Not an easy job! But congrats on getting it done!
@@nickycarz1663 So, the next job came up, water smells like Gasoline :-( Another big job. Good that this car is my hobby and not the only one I have.
@@Arlunydd239 Yes, these cars definitely don't make good daily drivers. LOL!
She got a bmw , a nice dog and works on cars . God bless
Can you take all that coolant out with a shop vac ?
I suppose you could. You would just still want to manage proper disposal of it and then clean out your shop vac real good after.
Thank you.. make this job look so easy.. I'm still struggling with the manifold 😭😞😱
