Ford offers a heavy duty payload package in their F150 which, when combined with either the 5.0L V8 or Twin Turbo 3.5 can haul up to 3,200 lbs but it is not the most attractive option (work truck, single cab, 8-footer bed). This would be the best way you could carry this camper on a 1/2 ton straight from the factory. Remember that payload also includes the people and gear you carry inside the pickup, plus other additional equipment, luggage and fluids you are carrying in the camper. Do your math right and don't max it out.
I have one of these the roof is all 3/16 plywood with TPO glued to it, the inside full of wood
