This tutorial ought to get 100million likes. This is the Best basic beginner's guide to Davinci resolve. Simplex and not complex. Thank you and God bless. 🙏🏼
I just switched from capcut to davinci. Thank you for making this tutorial very detailed and easy to understand, hands down my favorite so far. Editing is a new language for me and you made it easy for me to understand. You have a gift and I appreciate you sharing it. I've been taking my time with this video, learning and applying each step while I edit my own video. Thank you!
"Finally someone who knows how to teach beginners; very detailed and so much patience in your work...Bravo!" i copied the comment of Andrew cuz that's exactly how I feel thank you soooooooo much you made things easier
I have been “drowning” in DaVinci Resolve tutorials until I discovered this one. I now have time to actually follow your instructions on my Mac as I go. Thanks so much!
Finally a person that actually, digests the content of what they're making a Turorial on. 🤔 I wonder if Brody got more Tutorials, I think I want to make an inverse of a song to my soundtrack
Hello Quanta, I am Harry from the Netherlands and completely new to the world of video editing. I am almost retired and have, for my new hobby, purchased a dji mini 4 pro drone. With it I can record 4k videos and of course I will have to edit them. There are not that many UA-cam channels in my own language. Quite by chance I ended up on your channel. A very short piece of your video "full beginners course" and I immediately became completely enthusiastic. Especially that you said that most videos go way too fast for the beginner immediately struck me. I am aware that it takes a lot of time but it is certainly worth it. I hope to learn a lot here. greetings from Tilburg (Netherlands)groeten uit Tilburg (Nederland)
New sub. GREAT vid! I learned on FCP7.Had the complete studio files, color motion, etc. Apple introduced X.since then nothing has worked. could not even reload the program.I think Jobs took it with him.Seriously DaVinci looks like the closest program to what I was used to. 20 years ago I did telecine and used the Davinci with our old Rank.Excelllent transfers. Can't wait to start editing. Suggestion, please do a vid on importing ALL formats:DVD,SDS cards,VHS,etc. into the program.I used to need a converter. Thanks FB
I really appreciate 🙏🏻 My second language is English and I'm not that much good on that but I could understand you, and I sturt to learn the edit program for first time and this is great. Thanks 😊
Your video is really useful! but I wish you showed the clicking options and tools instead of just spelling the keyboard commands so I can know where things are. But other than that, handy tutorial!
That was an awesome overview for beginners. Thanks for your efforts. I have one question about something that occurred during one of my experimentations. Had two video clips, one on each track, that were snapped end-to-end. I held the Ctrl key (Windows 11, DR 19) while I dragged the double-bracket cursor left and then right, and both clips were adjusted. It's standard behaviour when both clips are on the same track, but this occurred when they were on different tracks. I remember seeing the while "total clip" outline on both tracks. When I repeat this action now, only one of the clips gets adjusted Any idea what I did differently to cause both clips to be adjusted?
I have been learning basic editing with DaVinci but I haven't figured out how to load the audio library? I have the files but I can't get them to load to the editing library? any suggestions?
Hi, everybody. is the RTX 3050 8GB VRAM graphics card enough for DaVinci resolve free version? Such short forms up to 30 minutes tutorials and here moderately advanced montages... cuts, talking head captions, transitions, animated graphics. All in all, the goal is a simple video construction.
This video is just a beginners course. Modifiers and expressions are way down the road, in the future. Right now, I'm just focusing on content for the foundations of DR. You'll probably not find much useful in this video if you're interested in more advanced concepts like these!

This would be very difficult to say/troubleshoot in the YT comment section.
Thank you
thanks
Is this course using the Studio version or the Free version?
Thank you!

Should be good enough. CPU is more important when it comes to editing.
haven't watched but saved it to watch later
Thanks. Hope you find it useful!
@@quantaaudio hey! not sure if the video talks about modifiers but can u maybe make a course/tutorial on resolve modifiers and expressions?

I'm deleting all of my other davinci subscriptions, this is what I was looking for.
