This video has been requested by many of you who have watched our house talk videos (thank you so much for watching) so we thought it was about time we gave you all the grand tour of our new build home and our first new home as a couple here in the UK. This is our first new home together and although the decor isn't totally finished, we really do love it. The main bathroom- the shower is nice & big and I’m loving the tiling!😍 The H&M vase is super cute! Your bedroom is so lovely! Can’t beat a nice en-suite!🙈 The neutral colours are gorgeous! But I’m lovinggg your side tables- the colour is super pretty! I love how your gorgeous dog follows you around! Bless! Fab video girl!☺️❤️

Have you considered removing your glass French doors and leaving it open so the doors don’t hit your sofa or reversing the way they open so they open into the kitchen or having bi folding concertina doors it’s crazy that the builders allowed not only double doors to open into your living room like that but also there’s another door into your hallway it’s as if they didn’t expect anyone to have a sofa
Great idea! The doors haven’t been on for a few years now actually - we took them off for that exact reason. (I think it’s in our updated house tour video) 😊

I've been looking at a lot of UK new home tours (not sure why, lol, I'm in Canada and don't plan on moving) and your main floor plan is different than what I've seen so far. Typically, the kitchen and living room are flipped from what you have. I like your layout, bringing the shopping in on a wet day doesn't have you traipsing through the whole house.
Ah America!! Amazing, the houses look bloody huuuuge over there! Yeah I agree with the mess, nicer to have it on the tiles (easier to clean) but I do like a kitchen backing on to the garden sometimes too! Thanks so much for watching - we just did another house tour so check it out!

Lovely house! And also how cute is your pup in her nappy. Bought back memories of when our cockerpoo (also brown lol) used to wear nappies when in season. She was never impressed when I put them on her haha. They’re like babies anyway ❤️❤️

@@elise.mcculloch they’re literally living teddy bears lol. Mine didn’t like them either (she’s been neutered now). I even bought her washable nappies with little rabbits on and she still wasn’t happy 😆

Congratulations on your beautiful NEW home - and you've decorated it so tastefully! I love it! I do have a question, though. I've watched several British new-build home videos and I've noticed that every single one of the houses toured has radiators for heating. Are there any new-build British homes that don't have radiators? I ask because I (as you've probably figured out) am in a different country where the only buildings with radiators are about a century old. I've lived six decades, and I've never lived in a home with radiators (not even when I was a kid). It just seems as though they're sometimes very hard to plan a room around. But I do think your house is absolutely wonderful!
Aww thank you so much for watching! Yeah to be honest, every house in the UK will likely have radiators as it’s a much needed heating system required when it comes to winter. I have to ask, where do you live?
@@elise.mcculloch Hi Elise! I happen to live in "America's Hottest City," Phoenix in Arizona - but we still use heat in the winter (sometimes gas, sometimes electric - depending on the home). And I have lived in Chicago, which gets VERY cold in the winter, as you no doubt know. But except for one time when I was a kid and we visited my mother's friend who lived in a very old apartment (probably built before 1920), I've never seen a radiator in any American home. The hot air simply blows out of vents (sometimes up from the floor, sometimes vents up near the ceiling). In my home, I have what's called an HVAC, which blows both hot and cold depending on the thermostat setting. Anyway, yes, your home is FANTASTIC. LOVE it!

We can hear noise / we’ve now taken ours off now though so it doesn’t bother us to kuch

Really bloody enjoyed this!! Your personality is so fun. My boyfriend and I move into our first home at the end of March and we’ve bought soooo much, it’s a new build too and we’re so excited!
