Proto 2000 E6 Locomotive With Soundtraxx TSU-2200 Decoder Pt.1

My Proto 2000 E6lLocomotive with a Soundtraxx TSU-2200 Decoder with a Soundtraxx Mega Bass 28mm speaker installed.
I removed the Proto 2000 board, and hardwired the decoder directly to the onboard wiring of the locomotive.
This ensures that there are no incompatibilities between the locomotive and the new decoder.
Installation is simple: all you have to have is basic soldering skills, and the ability to follow the wiring instructions provided in the package with their decoders.
All you need is a soldering iron, solder,shrink tubing (helps to ensure professional looking, long lasting results to prevent shorts),wire cutters,and electrical tape.
I used B-7000 glue to tack the Mega Bass speaker to the chassis.

Just finished an install of Tsunami2 in a proto 2000 E9 with two 28mm speakers installed in a dummy trailing unit. went very well and sounds great. Love the Sountraxx stuff.
