    Leave it to Russo to get it wrong. Just those 5 games?? Really? Those 3 other games in those SB runs - a 71.4% completion rate with 7 TDs and ZERO ints and an 8.1 Y/A. I guess he forgot about Eli carrying the 2011 team to the POs while setting multiple records.

      How could he when he hardly threw the ball? He spent most of his prime, handing the ball off to Emmitt Smith.

    • @dbreiden83080
      @dbreiden83080 Рік тому +2

      At what? He played behind the greatest offensive line in the history of the game and handed the ball off routinely to a top three running back of all time that racked up more yards than anybody in NFL history. He also was coached by Jimmy Johnson, and had a great defense.
      Aikman stats, even in the time that he played are pedestrian beyond belief.

      This is always my argument for Eli! If Troy wins even 1 less Super Bowl then he would have had just as much scrutiny! I guarantee if Eli won 1 more SB no one would
      Question whether or not he belongs in the HOF.

    Chris Simm get a backbone. You can't call Eli the GREATEST giants qb ever and a hall of famer only to backpedal because Big Bad Mad Dog doesn't think Eli should get in. Stick by your word😉😉😂😂😂

    • @jamesanthony5681
      @jamesanthony5681 Рік тому

      Mattingly doesn't have the numbers for a power position: 222HR's, 1,099 RBI's, How do those stack up against Gehrig, Stargell, McCovey, Thome, Murray, etc.. Mattingly was on track for Cooperstown, but a bad back limited him to perhaps 6 really good seasons.

    Plunkett isn’t in. Why should Eli go in ? Each has two Super Bowl wins. Neither was a top five qb in any of their playing years. No way. Plus Eli was only able to read at a third grade level

    No Eli is not a hall of famer. We wouldn’t even be having this conversation had he not played in New York and who his brother is. Eli was never one of the top 5 QBs in the league at ANY period of his career. That is the minimum requirement in my book for the HOF. I know that he won two Super Bowls, but so did Jim Plunkett and he’s not in. We all know what’s going to happen though..he will get in..because he played in New York and his brother is Peyton Manning.

What about Eli beating the best nfc defensive team the Buccaneers?? Those were zero clutch moments?? What about beating the 15-1 packers with nfl mvp Rodgers?? What about beating the best defensive team in football the 13-3 niners?? Yea you are letting your hate for Eli cloud your judgement. After a hard fought first half. The Chiefs turn up the heat on a weary 49ER defense closing the deal late in the 4th quarter after the 49ERS turn the ball over on downs with less than 2 minutes left in the game the Chiefs pick up a first down with less than 40 seconds remaining on the clock ... Mahomes takes a knee Final score 33 - 24
