Yes to the pumps and jars! I hate having to constantly squeeze a product out. To the point where i’ll squirt a big glump of it on the counter and scoop it that way.

I squeeze it on the back of my hand like my mom used to do. That way I can scrape the excess back into the bottle. But I do agree with everyone about loving the pumps and jars. Squeeze method is good for the first little while and then the struggle gets real, lol.
Top 5 curl creams next? ;) Also, you did mention rather expensive products. Could you do a cheapie version for our budget girls out there, me included. :D

Curl Maker is definitely one of my faves! 🤗❤️👍 I also loved Ouidad Heat & Humidity Strong Hold Gel as well as Dippity-Do Gelee (with the Dippity-Do Mousse layered on top).

Five!!! Curlmaker and JessiCurl Spiralicious are my top two gels. I too love Tropical Moringa and UFD Curl Stimulator. Also on my list is TreLuxe Hi-Defintion Gel. I do like DevaCurl gels, but I find that they are a bit drying and have not been reaching for them much. Good video.

Uuughhh I just love when I get a notification from you dahling! Also I predicted 3 of the 5 that you mentioned!! I knew you were gonna say the Pearly braidout glaze (you know that glaze is my favorite thing ever!), curl maker and curly magic and I LOVE all 3 as well!! Also when you were mentioning the last gel I was like "it's the curly magic fo sho" and then you brought out that salon size bottle with so much confidence I was like "OKAY LYDIA BOO I SEE YOU, YOU TRUE TO THIS😂😂💙💙" I remember you talking about how your sticking to a consistent regimen on IG and how you wont be so reluctant to try new products because your hair wasn't liking certain things! And I completely agree with that statement no wonder you love the Curly Magic so much!
Also I like the curly Magic more than the curl maker as well because its aloe vera based (better ph for the hair) and I get more shine with it and it's more affordable.

Yeah they only sell t on their website but it’s totally worth it!
Five. There is only one gel that sincerely blesses me and that is the Shea moisture gel soufflé that everyone hates. My hair never dries out with it. I am high porosity. My best combo has been aunt Jackie’s don’t shrink with the soufflé over top. I use the hydration serum from Eden as my leave in. Very watery routine lol. But my best results. Curl maker and the other popular girls dry me out

Five :) I typically stick to flaxseed gel. I wanna try UFD Curly Magic, but am humectant-sensitive in an arid climate and worry that the agave extract in it might pull moisture out of my hair.
Also I like the idea I saw in another comment about budget faves!

For the bottles with pumps I replace them with a cap from one of my leave in bottles lol You know the caps that pop half way open when you press down on the tab. Perfection 👌🏽

Hi Lydia, love your videos. Do you use the Uncle funky gel on top of any leave ins? I tried the camille rose on top of the Camille Rose curl milk, but it left a weird residue and I didn't like that feeling! I'm trying to find a gel that I can layer on top of leave ins. Five, I definitely need to try one of these gels. But I'm not trying to spend an enormous amount of money on a hair product. But you are tempting me to try Uncle Funky's daughter gel !
The ufd is definitely more cost effective compared to devacurl and Camille rose so I would say to try that one out of all of them if you’re looking for the best bang for your buck
What about the Bounce Curl Light cream gel? Not sure if you ever reviewed that gel on your channel. Would love to see your thoughts on that gel if you were to get it.

Five, i use the curlmaker gel for twist out and flat twist. I haven’t been able to master wash and goes. It looks good until it dries then it’s always stiff and doesn’t shake or move and gets big. Do you ha e any suggestions?
It could be that you may need to use a little less or use a light oil to break the gel cast to give it more movement
