I know this is an old receipe, but if your still watching your sight, just wanted to say, it's still an awsome receipe, from this recipe I've managed to make so many different bbq receipes.
Brillant yummy bbq sauce. Thanks.
I know this is really good. I luv all the spices and ingredients that you use. So Simple an easily made.
1:52 for the folks who don't care for chitchat
Thanks
If you don't can the sauce you should still give it a little boil then let it cool down to room temp. It tastes better that way.
A very simple, yet very good sauce that hits the mark! Speaking of great sauce(s), it looks like the weather will finally start cooperating with us so that I can try (and review) a couple of great sauces that Santa brought last week! YAY!
That's a great homemade sauce Linda, nice of you to show just how easy it is to make.
Linda rocking the BBQ sauce! I like the red but I really like the mustard based Carolina sauce.Hope you do that one! Cheers!
I am from Nc and it looks pretty authentic I personally use brown sugar and blackstrap molasses instead of white sugar but it all depends on your taste and I put butter in it too I love your show and have learned so much thank you for sharing your skills
Might have tip give that one a try! Looks great. I did a blackberry sauce not too long ago that you should check out.
I suppose the amounts are up to each individual and their tastes, but watching this, this is what I thought the amounts looked like: 1 1/2c braggs AC vinegar, 1t granulated garlic, 1/2t crushed red pepper flake, 1/4t pink Himalayan sea salt, 1 1/4 c ketchup (hard to tell on that one), 1/8t. cayenne, 1T sugar, 3 T brown sugar. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me. I'm about to try this as I wrote it, hopefully it turns out!
Yum that would be fantastic as a wing dipping sauce.
I use brown sugar or honey for the sweetener and just a pinch of baking soda. It's got to sit for at least a day and a week is better. Great video. Thanks
Its only me,, and I have an Zaycon Foods account. I have tried finding someone to go in halves with me on some of the things .. When I lived in Tacoma, I had a friend that wanted to do this.. but we never got around to doing it,, since I was trying to save money to move to Spokane,, which I am now here.. Yay.. I am in a 3rd floor apartment with a balcony.. yay.. I may yet save for that outside cooker you are selling.. we will see.. save on elect.. You have really inspired me to do more for me. thank you Linda..
Hi, Is there a recipe that I can print out.... it looks so good. Thank you Joe
Thanks Linda, I will give this one a try!
looks good. it's pretty similiar to thai sweet chilly sauce, i imagine
I'd love to try this on ribs!
do you have a written reciept for this sauce?
Recipe???
Their two kinds of North Carolina bbq sauce Lexington and eastern bbq sauce.
great sauce, I'll have to try it when I make pulled pork next weekend.
Those measuring spoons are so cute! Where would one find some? Lol
Do you post the actual measured recipes anywhere? I noticed you don't state the actual amounts of some items like the initial amount of ketchup. Thanks
You can tell how much some people care about the content they post on UA-cam. This question was posted seven years ago and she couldn't even be bothered to answer it.
I'm not familiar with this kind of barbecue sauce. Could you please put your corrected sauce --you said you checked your written recipe at the end of the video--I would like to make it good the first time--I'd really appreciate it. The other recipes on your site are different. Thanks so much!!!
look's great love will give it a go,cheer's
Can you can this? If so what method and for how long?
I am adding this to my sauce recipes sounds tasty
Can you can this sauce and if so how long and what size jars
That is more of a Lexington Sauce or Western NC due to using ketchup Eastern NC use Texas Pete Hot Sauce instead and its much thinner also let it set a week has a much better taste.
how about cooking it with some corn starch and thicken it up?
How would I go about canning this...just in a water bath
no ketchup.. use texas pete
I wish you would tell us how much of everything you put in there
Where is the recipe? I'd like to try it.
I'm sure the sauce is delicious but I guess we'll never know since the video is so vague and confusing. She gives measurements for some ingredients but then not others. She added a quarter cup ketchup at the end but doesn't say how much was in there in the first place. Wouldn't be so bad if there was a written recipe under the video.
Do you have a written recipe?
Your sauce is mostly legit, except for the granulated garlic, which, I guess, makes it your own.
hahaha the taste test she paused and knew she fuck up
Heck with dipping wings or ragoons in it. Just dip ME in it! yum yum! :)
What are the measurements ?
Is there a written recipe?
Hi Linda, is the Wildtree open to non-US residents? x
No sorry and I don't sell Wildtree anymore
Okay, thank you :).
Yeah -yummy. I live in the Carolina's. Here we have Carolina BBQ and east coast BBQ:).
I would have given you a thumbs up, but you didn't tell us any MEASUREMENTS !! How are we supposed to make it correctly ??!!!!
Recipe starts at 2:16. :)
You didn't give out any amounts!!
Can you please list the actual recipe?
Too much vinegar.
why are you being so selfish and vague about the measurements and recipes.other kind UA-cam's gladly give the measurements and some even post the recipes.
Auqa ho
