To be honest, the extreme stupidest has to be the NYC Subway R179. Because here are some reasons.
1. It's too slow. At a top speed of only 55 mph. (89 kmph)
2. It's a subway train. Not a NR train.
3. No AWS or TPWS
4. Too long at 10 cars.
5. The 5 car variant will also not come because even though it's shorter, still it's not a NR train.
