Evening Trains at Havant, PDL - 10th July 2024

Hello and welcome to those who already subscribed and to those who have visited my channel to view my latest video.
On 10th July 2024, I went to Havant Station.
Still the same since I last came here last year, expect there are lot of Southern Trains due to the new timetable, and cafe's have been revamped.
Views are very good, I much prefer to film at the end of Platform 2 near the bridge as you get 100 per cent privacy without any hassle from the public. I do film on the other end facing the gates, but I tend not to stick around long as it can be nerving at times when you got big car park next to it, and people do walk pass it as it's also pathway to the railway gates. And you can get people shouting abuse at you, as well the people on the Platform opposite pointing and laughing, sadly this station can not be very welcoming by the public but hey that's Havant for you.
Havant does hold a special place for me as it's where I grew up, before I moved to Fareham 8 years ago, so I have lot of fond memories of glory BR days in 1990s and early 2000s, with the SWT, Connex South Central Slam Door Stock, Wessex 442s, Virgin Trains 158, 47, HST & Voyagers & 158 Brighton - Cardiff, & SWT 158 Brighton - Exeter.
Trains you will see well I call Havant now Desiros & Electrostar Central, as you only see SWR 450, 444, Southern 377s and little few 387s, so bit of excitement there.

I don’t know, think it’s very odd and rare as they are normally 4 car unit! Not sure they ran 3 car Brighton - Southampton!
