something ive started doing after learning about habit stacking is then when i do something like sit down to use my laptop i'll get my sketchbook or ipad or whatever i have on hand and set a timer and draw for 10 mintues. ive been doing that today and so far its actually been fairly helpful, i actually managed to finish something i was working on, now i just need to be consistent with it
one thing i always have is a piece of paper with a pen or pencil under my keyboard waiting for a game to load? draw watching UA-cam? draw waiting to respawn in a game? draw
For me, I often stop in the middle of a drawing because I get nervous about "ruining" it. What I've eventually learned, in order to finish a piece, is to just ruin it. I'm not sure how to draw the hand? Draw a wonky hand. Finish the drawing. Then I evaluate the piece. Oftentimes, the mistakes are not even noticable to an untrained eye anyway. If it's really bad, I can redraw the piece, having learned from my mistake. If your problem is more in the direction of just losing interest in the drawing, maybe you should consider what your intention is with the piece. "I need to finish this piece so I can hang it on the wall" or "I need to finish this piece so I can show it to my friends" are some examples of good motiators.
Maybe not so much a cure but a solution If you end getting burnt during working on a peice take some time and step away from it for a bit and come back to it later or draw something else for the time being. Drawing as a whole and learning takes alot of mental energy y to do so it’s important to take breaks as often as you need . Your brain is a muscle just like any other so it too needs break
I get to draw 30min.s in a day, nd like 1hr on weekends, that's all 😢 I can't do any studies nd it's soooooo frustrating to be like stuck there cause of lack of time... 😭😭

Yessss my skyrim loading screens used to be so long because it was heavily modded, so I’d draw whatever was on it while I waited lol

I get burnout halfway through a single drawing. Is there a cure for this?

My problem is that I get burnout even before starting to draw because of all this "AI taking jobs in the future"

You're right, thanks :)
