I was a Maya user... but im starting to learn Blender, I did the donut, etc but this tutorials are amazing, thank you for the time, the knowledge, and for making this awesome pro content for free to us
@@graceb9665 Strange, I assumed it was a numberpad since that's the functionality of the numberpad. Maybe your keyboard is mapped to treat those top numbers as if from a numberpad somehow? I'm not sure, sorry. Luckily in the meantime you can always just press the three buttons on screen (to the immediate right of where it says "Edit Mode.") These do the same thing to toggle between vertex edge and face. Let me know if you figure out what's up with the keyboard. You can always right click pretty much any button in Blender and say "Assign shortcut." This way you can map these number buttons to what they should be. Just be careful! As soon as you start assigning shortcuts, you run the risk of replacing existing shortcuts with new stuff.
Commenting twice because the algorithm should know how engaging it is 😮
Haha, thanks I appreciate that. I think my algorithm might be long dead, but I still appreciate the gesture.

@@MohamedMedhat1992 You’re welcome. Thanks for watching a few and commenting.
Pressing 1, 2 and 3 will take me to orthographic view. I'm in edit mode, not sure why it's not working for me?
@@graceb9665 in this case you’ll want to use the numbers at the top of your keyboard. Your numberpad numbers have a different effect.
@@rileyb3d Thank you for such a quick response omg. I don't have a numberpad and am using the numbers at the top of my keyboard.
