- Overnight hike with strangers. This was my first overnight hike and I loved it! I hadn’t met anyone before the hike but what an amazing group of people!
The hike is about 13km long and can be done as a day hike. The first 2km is when you gain the most elevation and then it’s fairly flat afterwards. I’m not a gym bunny but I didn’t think it was hard, the only challenging part was the chain ladders and the gully.
The hike was organised by Dineo (@dineo_zonke) and guided by TBG Campout (@tbgcampout) - check them out on Instagram.

All music is from Epidemic Sound
Definitely hiking this in March

Beautiful Hike, I did it yesterday (31.03.2022) the plan was to go down the Gulley, but we could not find it, ended up going down the ladders, and I am so glad I did, after watching what you went through!

Where is the lodge that they parked the car and the starting point? Is that near Thele Camp or from the Sentinel Car Park?
Great video. Thank you.

Where is the parking at the starting point? Is it near the Royal Natal park visitor center?

Thanks Muhammed, it was a group trip organised by Dineo Zonke. We didn’t book the hut, I think it’s first come first serve but I could be wrong.

@@thandekafuze uxolo kodwa I'm not that trusting. I rather use that other route you came back with. Though I doubt I would take hiking that's that extreme. Last time I went hiking in hartebeest and took it light, I took my drinks to the hike and continued drinking til taking the hike. I felt like I was dying there, vomited on the finish line. I've been on a hiking break since
