Looks like its up there with us when it comes to infrastructure. I must check it out.
It’s feels like home
What a cool place
It really is
I swear Namibia is just an extension of Upington
It’s like a mini SA
Namibia has my heart!!🥺🥺 I can’t wait to go there for my birthday, may I ask? How much would be ideal to have as a “pocket money” for a stay of 3 days??
Hi Dimpho, it depends on your spending habits but the benefit is that you can use Rands there so you don’t have to worry about exchange rates. Hope you have a great birthday!
@@thandekafuze thank you! 🌸
Thank you for sharing this! But where are the people in Namibia the country looks empty. What did you enjoy the most, the desert? Was this a custom trip with yellow hat or is the Namibia Classic?
They have a population of 2.5m people 😅 If I had to choose a favourite was Sandwich Harbour… but then Spitzkoppe and Habitas were pretty special too! This was the Namibia Lite package with YellowHat
It's always empty in Namibia, from Windhoek all the way to the North it's literally empty. Nothing much to do the only thing I like about Namibia is the desert.
We are here 🤣🤣 our population is 2.3mil not even the population of cape town alone
😍😍😍
Namibia feels like South Africa because it was part of South Africa when I was young. People there even speak Afrikaans, which is a uniquely South African language.
It’s a beautiful country, felt like home 🧡
Love this, even though I'm familiar with the places it was nice seeing it through your eyes #newsubbie
Thank you Renathe! 😄
As far as I understand, Windhoek used to be a part of South Africa, until 1994.
It was Walvis Bay until 1994 is when it was handed back to Namibia by Nelson Mandela. The Apartheid regime claimed that British SA bought Walvis Bay from the Dutch before the partition of Africa in 1884.Thus South Africa controlled Walvis Bay and all its resources for over 100 years. It was not part of South West africa. It was part of Western Cape. Anyway those were colonial economic games only simply coz Walvis Bay is the Richest fishing harbour on SUBSAHARAN africa after Morocco and 3rd South Africa. So Walvis was fishing heart of the Boers. Nothing else. However that's history. History can be ugly but beautiful at same time.
Windhoek was never part of Southy🇿🇦
Where did you do your Covid test?
I did it at PathCare in Swakopmund
@@thandekafuze thank you
