- ANZU Robotics debuts two drones in the Raptor series. Headquartered in Austin, TX, American-owned with a customer feedback-based business model. In this video, we discuss the Raptor, a dedicated mapping drone with RTK capability and a global shutter. ANZU's Raptor T with multi-palette thermal imaging is designed to aid first responders with an optional loudspeaker attachment, as well as being a great drone for inspection use. Any word on if the triple camera system that comes with the M3Pro and Pro Cine (1x, 3x, 7x) will be available in the future?
What type of video formats does it feature such as dlog m, hlg etc.?
I believe it's H.264 4K: 3840×2160@30fps, FHD: 1920×1080@30fps
@@DroneNerds thank you
Do they have eu rid and djy fly zone limitations?
They are not geofenced. Thanks for watching!
@@DroneNerds thanks, about remote id, do you know if they support the usa and also the eu version?
Sorry I don't know much about European RID but if it's like here in the US, I don't think the drone can be sold without it.
I love videos I can share!!!
Thanks for watching Dan!
Who's working on compatibility with Apple's Vision Pro?
I am unsure. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a Mavic shell, but with proprietary tech, correct? If dji is banned, will yall be putting out options to fill the gap for hobbyists, photography and fpv flyers? I am a Texas resident, and I'm super excited to support a Texas business. I just would like to ensure that my specific needs will be met with this tech
Thanks for watching! ANZU has a great roadmap. Can't speak on it now but stay tuned!
The hardware seems to be nearly all DJI parts. The software and company are All American.
At the moment these 2 drones the raptor and raptor T are the only ones in the works.
If DJI gets banned I believe Anzu plans to come out with lower priced consumer drones.
Are these going to be certified Blue listed?
As far as I know, they are not. Thanks for watching!
Man Its a VERY EXPENSIVE I Just Got The Mavic 3 Pro and If the Ban is Coming Lower the Price
Sick. Now give me a green Phantom 4 😂 …kinda not kidding 🙏🏼
Thanks for watching!
Did you mean a green Phantom 5? Id buy a couple of those!
Price?
Reach out to use here at experts@dronenerds.com we can get you that info.
30% more then the DJI originals
Jolly Green enterprise drones.
Thanks for watching!
They could’ve just painted the drone gold to make the price have more sense 😅
Hilarious! Thanks for watching!
Just rebranded DJI drones.
There may be parts that look similar. However they are licensed technology and ANZU is headquartered out of Austin, TX. The whole idea is data security here. ALOFT is fantastic flight software. Thanks for watching!
My understanding is that DJI sold them the rights for them to build the drone with 99% comparable to DJI drone but no connection to China base DJI.
@@russellallen5088 They will still be dependent on Chinese development. So that connection will always be there. Because it doesn't have its own development.
@@DroneNerds Can't the same thing be accomplished by operating DJI through Dronesense or other 3rd party encrypted software? Essentially bypassing Flight Hub.
There's nothing wrong with it being a rebranded DJI drone. The only problem with DJI drones is the brand and country of origin. Anzu has resolved those problems...
Does it have flying in the rain capabilities, how much wind will it handle, how much, what about lights for it , make a real video on this

Too pricey 😩
Too crazy for who? This drone is a replacement for the mavic 3 enterprise and thermal. Most people who would buy those drones can buy this one.
Especially if they cannot use DJI. It's a great solution, a great aircraft and great flight software.
Sorry for the typo I meant to say too pricey not too crazy. The app on my phone won't let me edit but I'll try to fix it on my computer later..
@@jerseyshoredroneservices225 Dunno, 30% increase is an bit too pricey, especially for non-enterprise/non-gov buyers. most civilians would prefer not paying an 30% markup for dubious benefits
Now that DJI will be banned users can switch to this new US made drone.
Thanks for watching!
The issue will be the price. Looks like US govt is going to get a piece of this. Projected price is looking at $5100. Way to shut out the average consumer by shutting out the affordability range. Nothing against the messenger, DroneNerds.
No offense taken. It's priced in line with comparable models with the same features and flight times. Also, these are geared for Enterprise use, not consumers. The government gets no money from these sales. Thanks for watching!
Yeah since these are just clones of the Mavic 3E/T the price is right in line with those models. DJI is smart for just allowing some other company to sell the same thing to the govt with a new name haha
Why green though ?
@@corydwyer377 green card kkkk
The average consumer isn't buying a mavic 3 enterprise. The average mapping professional can justify the price increase if it means he can get drones and continue working.
Love that it will be US based, but it’s still more expensive than the DJI versions. Especially when people already own a DJI drone.
I get why the US wants to ban DJI, but it’s coming at a cost of screwing the consumer.
You have to keep in perspective the scale DJI sells. They get so much product they can sell cheaper due to scale. ANZU is a smaller company, making some incredible leaps for the US consumer if the ban goes through. You can't only compare price. The flight software is top notch and ANZU is US based.
Yeah, but people that already own a DJI drone are getting the worse of it.
Not sure if it’s possible or not, but why not just have an option to change the network of our current DJI drones (assuming the ban goes through). Send it in and change out the connection or whatever it would be to make it what the raptor is. It’s literally a clone, so it shouldn’t hard to swap software or update it to be US based like the Raptor.
@@NathanPhillipsPhoto
I don't see how this affects people who already own DJI. This is just a new drone on the market to fill part of the void that will be created if DJI is banned.
BTW From what I understand if DJI does get banned this company plans to come out with lower price consumer drones. This first release is just a replacement for the Mavic 3 enterprise and thermal.
@@jerseyshoredroneservices225 how wouldn’t it? People that own a DJI will have to buy a new drone that is a clone practically. Money is the factor that will affect people.
@@NathanPhillipsPhoto
Currently owned drones wouldn't be affected and maybe not even current models that are on the market. If the FCC bans new licenses that would prevent new models from being released.
I can't imagine that they would retroactively outlaw products that are already in service
😂 dji green Man
Thanks for watching!
These are just rebranded DJI drones
These are not DJI's drones just rebranded, they are unique to ANZU. It is licensed technology, manufactured in a way that they may look similar, but they are not just rebranded. ANZU is a great American based company operating on US based servers with ALOFT. Thanks for watching!!!
There's nothing wrong with a re branded DJI drone. The only problem with DJI drones is the brand and Anzu has resolved that issue. Better yet, they removed the geoffense😊
