Ladies, gents and teddy bears! This is Ted’s Quick Climb Friday. Don’t you just love it when we zoom OUT? It makes a huge difference to the feel of just how fast these aircraft climb. Ooohh yeah
Yet another brilliant compilation! Well done Ted & Nikos. The noise, vibration, aviation fuel, QC's, spluffage, wing ribbons, fweepage. Never grow tired of this👏👏
Thank you for this. It reminded me of a time I was flying over the San Joaquin Valley in California and I received a traffic advisory from Lemoore Approach for a flight of F18s that were just leaving the runway 5,000 feet below me. They reached my altitude in a matter of seconds. It was awe inspiring.
Oooh yeah, the RAF Lakenheath commute. They go to work, meanwhile we're entertained! Fweeps, howls and was that Ted so overawed by the fantastic action, he fweeped!? 😆. Great stuff, thank you USAFE & Ted Coningsby
The mega zoomed out shot, which is brave when all you wanna focus on the aircraft but zoom out so you get such an emersive perspective of sheer speed that carries them vertical. How quick they turn straight up. Besides you get too witness 1) 2 in shot and 2) The Afterburner going on and off and 3) watch them gun it! Up! An epic collection of F15E's and F35A's on flights to oblivion. They are gone! Apart from the Catwalk.. USAF show us the way with skills and action
Oii oiii Dan 🤙🏼thanks man. We know you’re a big fan of the 2 in 1 shot. It gives a great chance to catch the climb rate and a little bit of the next departing aircraft ooohhh yeah
@TedConingsby Yeah, one of the best shots you do. If not the best! Highlighted it very early on in my TCS viewing career. Still a massive fav.. Although many great shots I've seen 👌
Thats incredible! Good job filming those especially when you panned back you can really see how fast it gets to altitude! Most poeople film tight in you can't get a good view of how fast they are going doing it that way..
Back in another century when I was in the USAF, it was a rare sight for me to watch an F-15 take off. I was in SAC, so all I saw were B-52s and KC-135s. However, the sound of both types of aircraft on full AB is enough for me to proclaim, “That is the sound of Freedom.” ‘Cuz, ‘murica.
@@TedConingsby This is what happens when one posts at 2am. I should have been a bit more specific in my second sentence as I was referring to the 35s and 15s.
Bet nobody throws a sickie the day it comes to flying one of these beautiful planes ✈️. .(fave still the f15)… p.s. great footage, but subscribed for the bear!!👍🤣
That would be awesome! What a great idea. The aircraft to reach a chosen FL quickest would most likely be the Typhoon due to the power to weight ratio but ultimately it could also depend on the pilot. Saying that, this would simply be amazing to watch regardless of outcome
Is the F35B hovering at the Cosford Airshow really loud. Without afterburners, I heard that many people say it’s still incredibly loud right? So please tell me how is it soooo loud ted!?!
Try recording it on the F35B today especially if it hovers again like last year. But later or tomorrow, you might tell me what was the loudest part of the F35b
Perhaps the greatest after burning Turbofan engine ever created. Makes a solid 10,000 lbs of static thrust more than the F16. As the A10 is an aircraft built around a 30mm rotary cannon, the F35 is an aircraft built around an engine. Not exactly sure where it slots in among the F18, F15, F16, and F22 as a weapon system but who cares. Tax dollars well spent!
Yup about 45,000 the F35 is the world's most powerful single-engine fighter ever made! Wish Lockheed would make a twin engine fighter using those engines!💰
I used to watch the F16's at Osan AB do this although I don't think they went as vertical as these F35's oh and once in awhile there was a certain black plane with long thin wings that would do an unrestricted climb that was impressive for something as big as she was...

Damn, F-35 is a beautiful beast. Sound of Freedom.
This will never ever get old 👊🇬🇧🇺🇸
I get to watch this same thing every day at Tyndall AFB FLORIDA
Yet another brilliant compilation! Well done Ted & Nikos. The noise, vibration, aviation fuel, QC's, spluffage, wing ribbons, fweepage. Never grow tired of this👏👏
Ooooooohhhhhhh yeah thanks Colin

Love the channel mate. When you zoom out it gives a great perspective on how fast they climb. Just awesome.
Oii oiii thank you. Yes it really does :_:_f35:

Oii Oii thanks Margo🤙🏼 fweeeeeeep
Wow! Welcome to the Lakenheath space station!! A BIG thank you to the 48th always spectacular. Thank you Nikos...👍
Ooohhh yeah
Man, those f35 really get up and go with a hurry! Usually, the f15 is my favorite unrestricted climber, but those f35 were like rocket ships!
Love the Quick Climbs
Oii Oii thanks Ang
Stunning, simply stunning 🫡
Oii Oii Captain A thanks man
Always fantastic to see!
I'd love to see a side by side QC takeoff though... Twins to the stars ❤😊
Ooohhh yeah thanks Dex
No matter the day, 48th FW never disappoints!
no Elephant Walk.
Ooohhh yeah. That’s proper true dat Ellesee

Awesome as always, luv it, whether F35As or F15 strike eagles.
Thanks always Ted, Nikos & the TCS crew
Thanks Julie, get well soon
I knew it why I said Lakenheath was my favorite airfield. I often say its the best place to view of the F15s and F35s. Ty for the post Nikos.
☺️🥰😊👍
Thanks Alix
lol The marching teddy bear was so cute.
Awww yeah! TC Channel in the AM, Baby!!
Oooohh yeah
Just insane. It rained and was really cloudy when we went a few weeks ago. I'd love to see this .
Thats incredible! Good job filming those especially when you panned back you can really see how fast it gets to altitude! Most poeople film tight in you can't get a good view of how fast they are going doing it that way..
Thank you so much
How many millions of dollars did we see climbing vertically into the clouds above, in this one? What machines & what pilots!
Great video (as usual).
millions just in fuel....
Freedom isn’t free $$$ well spent
Hearing the jet nozzles move is crazy.
Sweet!!!
Thank you for such great shots. I am feeling lost with my filming this year. I hope to see you on the fence line soon. Keep up the great work.
Tony

B-52s and KC-135s don’t have AB

I love the smell of J-8 in the morning.😅
Smells like... Victory.
Right On Go Army!
To the MOON, Alice! 🌙
Ooohh yeah
Great video

6:48 love that perspective
Ooohhh yeah thanks Stephen
The F-15 and F-35 really do compliment one another.
As do F-35 and Gripen E. Greetings from Finland.
The high priests of quick climb
Thanks 4 another superb vid. What´s the reason for the steep climb? Local regulations?
Friday fun
It’s Friday, end of the week
hi Ted i was wondering if you could tell me about the camera kit your using as the zoom on that lens is fantastic
It’s TedCam 2.0 with TedaScopic lens
Wow!!
Would love to see a 4th July Quick climb contest between: F35, the F15 & RAF Phoon 🗯 ! Send them ✌🔛
That would be awesome! What a great idea. The aircraft to reach a chosen FL quickest would most likely be the Typhoon due to the power to weight ratio but ultimately it could also depend on the pilot. Saying that, this would simply be amazing to watch regardless of outcome
@@TedConingsby -- True... but it would be the intent of the spirit, over the winner, that would win 🗯✌ ! Send it
Absolutely, it would be an awesome event. You never know it might just happen one day at an airshow? Hope this comes true.
Love the noise and climb outs.
Any chance of Ted being at Cosford Air day tmz ?
We are there tomorrow
Is the F35B hovering at the Cosford Airshow really loud. Without afterburners, I heard that many people say it’s still incredibly loud right? So please tell me how is it soooo loud ted!?!
We recorded this on our Ted-o-meter at around 132db, so this is extremely loud
Try recording it on the F35B today especially if it hovers again like last year. But later or tomorrow, you might tell me what was the loudest part of the F35b
That’s a lot of BTU’s exhausted right there.
But I think that’s 27,000 lbs military thrust with 43,000 lbs. full afterburner, but I could be wrong.
Pratt and Whitney F100 229s produce 29,000lbs of thrust with a afterburner
Perhaps the greatest after burning Turbofan engine ever created. Makes a solid 10,000 lbs of static thrust more than the F16. As a tax payer, I'm happy with the engine... But not the program.
Yup about 45,000 the F35 is the world's most powerful single-engine fighter ever made! Wish Lockheed would make a twin engine fighter using those engines!💰
The F15 was built around the radar.
F-35 Block 4, THE best fighter by far. 'Bout to get better with AI stealth drone wingmen loaded internally with Peregrine missiles.
Haha. Absolutely AAWWWWWSSooommmme 👍👍👍. Scottish AlF
f35 pilot tuning into grt hits!! ten before ken an pull the stick back oh yeah!!!!
I used to watch the F16's at Osan AB do this although I don't think they went as vertical as these F35's oh and once in awhile there was a certain black plane with long thin wings that would do an unrestricted climb that was impressive for something as big as she was...
First F-35 had white letters on its tyres... someone got fancy....
Very nice
Thank you Damien
This looks like a video game to me .
Can assure you this is real world
F-35... say hello to Finnish road bases!
Wow! Go Lockheed Martin!!

F-35 Disappearing act
